He looked in physical pain when he unleashed his perfect green eyes on me again. “I can’t believe this is happening. Fuck all of this!”

“Danny?”

His growl was feral. “I have to go play three more fucking songs, Zee, and I have the most ridiculous fucking erection I’ve ever had in my entire fucking life.”

Just like that, my face fell, and I had to clamp a hand over my mouth to stop the laughter from pouring free. I glanced down to see that Danny had, indeed, got the most beautiful hard dick pressing against his impossibly tight trousers. “Oh my—”

Halo ran past us, slapping Danny on the back and making us both rock forward. “Come on, fuck face. It’s time to make this one to remember!”

Theo, Fletch, and Archer walked past us, too, with a bounce in their steps, while Danny just stood there, his eyes closed again now, and his jaw tight and twitching. His mouth was moving in the smallest of chants to himself, and he pressed a hand over his dick.

“Say something, Daisy. Quick,” he hissed. “Something gross that’ll make this go away.”

“I… I…” had no words, and the laughter soon poured free without any restraint. I couldn’t help it. Dropping my head to Danny’s shoulder, I held on as he whispered curse words above me.

“Danny!” Jules cried, running our way. “Come on. What’s the hold up?”

I turned to face her with my lips pressed together, while Danny groaned above me. “He’s… erm… he’s got a little issue.”

“It is not fucking little!” Danny growled.

I stepped away, being no help whatsoever as my laughter took control of my body. Danny raised his arm and rested it against a metal pole before he dropped his head to it and began to count down with his eyes closed.

Jules curled her arms over her chest as she leaned in with a knowing smile. “Did you turn on our lead guitarist halfway through a show?”

“I didn’t know it wasn’t finished; I swear.”

“But he did, the moron.”

“I feel so bad.” But I couldn’t stop laughing at the sight of him falling apart in front of me.

“Don’t. No matter how famous these rock stars get, there’s always that one girl waiting in the wings who is capable of making them come undone. One day they’ll learn that it’s those girls who hold the power, and they’ll learn not to mess with that.”

“Oh, God. Look at him, Jules.” I laughed again, pressing my hands to my chest. “What shall we do?”

Danny was stubbing the toe of his boot into the stage flooring over and over again, muttering to himself as the crowd grew louder and louder.

Jules smirked as she watched Danny’s struggles. “Unless you plan on helping him out in the next twenty seconds, there’s nothing we can do. He’s going to have to play and be uncomfortable.” She raised her chin and cried over to him, “Hey, Danny. Get your butt out on that stage before I shove you out there.”

“I… can’t…”

“Don’t make me turn violent, Silver. You know I can, and you know I will.”

“Fuck! All right, all right, all right. Give me a second.”

With a deep, deep inhale, Danny held it in his chest before he blew it back out of his inflated cheeks. He shook his legs, stood taller, keeping his eyes closed when he turned his back on the both of us and held a finger up over his shoulder.

“I’ve got it. I’ve got it.” His strong shoulders rose and fell slowly before he glanced back at us both with a cheeky smile on his face. “Have her ready to leave as soon as this shit is over, Jules. I’m not hanging around for a second longer than I need to once this is done. You can blame Daisy for that.”

Twenty-Nine

Danny slammed the door of the limo, drowning out the screams of a few fans who had caught him making a quick exit. Ducked down, he turned to descend on me.

I waited with a smile on my face, desperate for it.

I’d gone through the last part of the night in a haze with hot, heavy desire clouding my vision and weighing me down. I’d never experienced hunger like it. My skin was on fire, my toes were tingling, and my nipples pressed against my bra to the point of being painful. It was a case of wanting what I thought I’d never have again, and now I had it, I wanted to binge on every taste, touch, and tender moment.

He was no longer just Danny from Hope Cove, the boy who broke my heart.
