Death is in those eyes. Dark and sparkling, they hold my gaze until I finally look away.

“Damn, he was sexy.” One of the other girls’ comments.

“You’re out of luck Lucinda! His eyes were totally on the new girl.” Another says.

Looking over at them in the fence next to mine, the first one that spoke curls her lip at me.

She’s one of the ones that gets special treatment around here because she spreads her legs for the men any time they want it.

“Don’t mind me, you can have them all!” I growl, turning my back to them all.
