Baratta
We were cocooned in our own little heaven until the alarm on her phone went off. I know I have shit to do today but I don’t want to go out into the real world just yet. When she reaches for her phone I pull her back into my arms kissing her. She reaches up wrapping herself around my neck.
Just when I think we might go for a second round my own phone pings. I want to ignore it but I can't. Uncle Tony might need me. So with another peck on her lips I pull away. Rolling out of bed I swipe up my phone telling Fi, “Sorry I have to take it.”
While I am talking to Uncle Tony, she gets up heading for the bathroom so I wander out to her kitchen deciding to start a pot of coffee. By the time she is done in the shower I have two cups on the table ready to go.
“I am not sure how you take your coffee, but I couldn’t find any cream or sugar.”
“Black is perfect.” hmmm her little moan when she takes that first sip makes my cock hard but we both have things to do.
“What is your schedule today?” I ask, but she just gives me a blank look.
“What? Why?”
“Because I am not leaving you alone. I told you as long as you keep getting those creepy ass pictures I am not leaving. So tell me your schedule.”
She takes a deep breath, I know she is going to argue with me on this, but then she lets out a sigh. “I want to fight you, I really do. However; I know you are going to do whatever the hell you want anyways. I have kickboxing at Hayden’s then lunch with my friends before I open the shop at two.”
While I get dressed, Fiona grabs the things she needs, before we walk out the door together. “Keys” I call out to her as she retreats down the stairs. She dangles them over her shoulder like she did yesterday, so I make sure her door is locked.
I leave her at the door to the Den, Hayden’s gym, before heading out to the Wolfsbane Ridge clubhouse. Uncle Tony and Aunt Morgania are saying their goodbyes when I arrive.
After driving them twenty minutes to a private airport where their bodyguards are already waiting, I pull Uncle Tony aside.
“I’m staying here.”
He starts laughing, not just a snicker but a full on belly laugh.
“Boy.” He claps me on the shoulder, “you just lost me ten thousand dollars.”
“And you are happy about this?” Confusion written on my face.
“Your Aunt told me you would stay behind. I did not believe her.”
“Something is going on Uncle Tony. Yesterday she received two packages at her apartment. They were creepy pictures, one was her in the shower, and the other was from her opening. They both had the word mine written over her body.” Uncle Tony is no longer laughing.
“Does her brother know?”
“No, she doesn’t want to tell anyone. If I hadn’t been there I wouldn’t know.”
“You have my blessing to stay. I will call in your brother to take your place, for now.”
“Thank you, Uncle.”
