I throw my head back when I hear the door close behind them.

What am I going to do with this chick?

Chapter Nine

Trent

This pool party is just what I needed. The sun is shining brightly, the coolers are filled with an endless amount of beer, and the hottest chick here is smiling at me like she’s about to devour me alive.Bring it, baby!

I can’t stop myself from smiling back at her like the fool that I am. She looks so fucking stunning with her tanned skin and her black Baywatch-inspired one-piece. Her ass and tits look so hot in it. I love the fact that she doesn’t have to wear a barely there two-piece to look sexy as fuck.

Honestly, every girl here stacked together doesn’t even come close to how gorgeous Ashley truly is. Lottie is looking hot, too. Of course, I would never say that to G, for fear of losing my balls, but it’s no less true. Our girls are fine.

I don’t know if they notice it, but they’re getting stared at by both the guys and girls here. Being that they are certainly not from around here, Ashley and Lottie do sort of stick out, but their looks also bring some extra attention.

Seeing the way the local chicks huddle together and talk about our girls makes me smile. Catty-ass bitches. Knowing neither of us has ever been exclusive to any chicks before has their claws out, I’m sure.

I made sure to stake my claim when we first arrived, giving my girl a long, drawn out kiss. We got a little carried away and her legs wound up wrapping around my body. I could feel the heat from between her legs, and if it wasn’t for the catcalls, I might have made my girl’s voyeuristic fantasies come true.

She loved every fucking minute of it. Not only did I mark my territory, but it also answered any questions as to who I belonged to.

We’ve spent the better part of the time here playing games in the pool. Neither Ashley nor Lottie seem to be concerned with getting their hair wet, unlike the rest of the girls snarling from the sidelines.

G and Lottie are a force to be reckoned with in a Chicken Fight, even taking down some of our guy friend duos.

Ashley and I shined in the pool volleyball game. We made a perfect team, seemingly knowing what the other was about to do and exactly where to be to assist. It was awesome.

It’s crazy to think this girl was practically a stranger to me before the summer started, and now I can’t imagine what life is going to be like after this week.

It’s not something I want to think about, but the thoughts are there, nonetheless. Constantly begging me to bring it up to Ashley, but I don’t want to risk this week going sour. I’m enjoying it too much.

Smiling back from our chairs, G and I watch as Ashley and Lottie play an intense game of beer pong.

Not paying attention to anything but my girl, I feel a hand glide over my shoulder. Looking up, I see Felicity with her painted-on red lips and face full of makeup. Does she know we’re at a pool party? Ugh, knowing I used to fuck this chick has my skin crawling.

“Hey there, hot stuff, haven’t seen you all day,” she purrs into my ear.

That’s a blatant lie. I know damn well she was close by when Ashley and I had our make-out session earlier. She was part of the reason I did it. Even though I haven’t touched this chick in a few months, I didn’t want her to think there was any chance of us happening today, or in the future, for that matter.

Removing her hand from my shoulder, I respond, “Oh, hey. Didn’t realize you were here today.”

“Of course, we’re here! We wouldn’t want to miss one of Nathan’s epic pool parties.”

Nathan is a cool guy. We graduated together and hang out occasionally. We’ve been hanging out more than usual this summer because he’s been working with G at The Shack. He’s a no-bullshit kind of guy, quiet and basically keeps to himself. He’s good people.

“No, of course you wouldn’t.” I turn back around from this fake conversation to see our girls doing a celebratory dance. G is already headed over towards them with new beers for their next game.

“Where have you been? Haven’t seen you around lately?” Felicity asks the back of my head.

Why is she still here?

“Been around. My girl’s in town, so I’ve been spending all my time on her.”

Yeah, I know what I said, and I mean it too. I don’t want to give Felicity any hope of us hooking up.

“Oh, I didn’t realize you have a girl. Since when is big man Trent Manning a one-woman type of guy?” she says as she slides her hand down my bicep.

“Since I found someone worthy enough to make me.” I practically growl as I remove her hand for the second time.
