“The food is cold now, but still edible,” Easton says, coming into the room.
We pull away, and Holly looks over at him and Dylan.
“I love you, both of you,” she says, getting up to her knees.
Dylan puts the stuff down, pulls her into his arms, and kisses her softly.
“I love you so much, Holly,” he says before pulling away and letting Easton take her into his arms.
“I love you. We are so lucky you came into our lives,” Easton says, kissing her softly.
When she pulls away, it’s because her stomach grumbles loudly, causing all of us to break out in laughter.
“Let’s eat, and then we can have another round before we get the babies,” Holly says before sitting back down.
We move the food to eat picnic style, and do just as she has suggested.
Perfect.
Chapter Twenty-Four
Holly
A few days later, we are at Kyla’s house having a cookout with everyone.
Kyla and her men are having a commitment ceremony in a couple weeks, and are just finalizing everything.
As soon as we got there, both Kyla’s parents and Easton’s parents took the babies. I laughed, but I don’t mind at all. I’m glad that they have that. My kids have grandparents who love them so much.
It’s hard to tell who fathered the babies, but we really don’t mind not knowing; though I’m sure we will find out eventually when their features develop more.
My brother made it, but Logan and his kids couldn’t since he’s been busy selling his place and getting ready to move next week.
I’ll be happy to have them closer.
It’s nice to see everyone getting along. Kyla comes back with some virgin cocktails and sits beside me.
“Just because I’m not drinking doesn’t mean that you have to not drink either,” I say, taking a sip.
“No it’s okay, I don’t need to. This does the trick,” she says with a wink.
“Are you getting nervous?” I ask after a moment.
She thinks about it for a minute and then shakes her head. “No, I love them. Sure we have had a lot of issues to work through, but we finally got through everything. It feels right. I wish I could marry all of them legally but, in our eyes, we will all be married. They will be my husbands, no matter what a piece of paper says.”
I nod my head in understanding. “I get what you are saying, I feel the same way. I would do the same thing when the time came.”
“Legally, I’ll be married to Levi, but that’s only on paper,” she says.
“I can’t wait. It’s going to be beautiful,” I gush.
“How are things with your men?” she asks with an exaggerated wink.
I chuckle at her actions.
“Great now that I’m finally getting some,” I say laughing.
“I bet it was hot watching though,” she says with a low moan in her throat.
