“We can just ask Kyla,” I say with a shrug.
Easton lets out a snort. “I don’t think it’s going to be that easy.”
“Why would you say that?” I ask.
“Those women are as close as sisters. Holly wouldn’t tell Kyla’s men where she was if they were looking for her. I assume we will have the same problem with Kyla. She won’t tell us where Holly is, no matter how much we beg,” he states.
I drop my head. Fuck, he’s right.
“We will do whatever we can to find her. There is no way she left the city. Let’s head to her place. She could just be there,” I say with a shrug.
It’s worth a shot.
Chapter Four
Holly
I spent the whole day feeling sorry for myself. I kept my pajamas on, and binge watched a show all day. I decided I would give myself the day, and then figure everything out tomorrow.
When I left the guys’ apartment, I told Kyla about what happened, and she spent the evening with me. We ate junk food and watched movies. Just the night I needed.
I need to find a new job though. Having a baby isn’t cheap; that’s what I hear at least.
I still need to figure out when or how I’m going to tell the guys that I’m pregnant. That’s a whole mess that I really don’t want to deal with.
There is a knock at the door that breaks my thoughts.
When I walk over and open it, I’m seriously regretting not checking my appearance or changing my clothes, so that I don’t look like a complete slob.
“What are you guys doing here?” I ask, looking at all three men who have turned my world upside down.
“We need to talk,” Easton says. “Can we come in?”
I move aside without saying a word. They take a seat on my couch, and I stand in front of them with my arms crossed waiting for one of them to speak.
“We just got back from the doctor’s office, with Helen,” Dylan starts.
I wave my hand in the air.
“I don’t really need to hear this. What you guys do with your woman isn’t my business.”
“She’s not our woman. I’d rather get eaten alive by ants,” Braxton hisses out.
I still at his words. He sounds like he hates her a lot. Maybe I do need to hear this.
“She fucking lied to us and said she was pregnant. A couple months ago, she drugged Dylan and made us believe that they had sex, but she just admitted that they didn’t. She faked it so that she could get us back. When we set up our own ultrasound by our own doctor, she finally caved and told us the truth,” Easton explains.
“Okay, that’s a cruel thing to do, but I have no idea why you guys are telling me,” I say, trying to hide the hope I have inside after hearing their words.
“Because we had a connection with you that night, and we wanted to continue to pursue it, but then Helen fucked it all up,” Dylan says while looking regretful.
“As fun as that night was, I didn’t much care for you not explaining to me what was going on, or each of you giving me the cold shoulder. I’d be a fool to set myself up for more heartbreak like that. I deserve more,” I say. I’m trying to appear unaffected, but inside I’m shaking.
How could I tell them that I’m pregnant when a woman just faked a pregnancy with them?
I doubt that they would believe me, especially after everything.
“We handled everything wrong but, if you give us another chance, we can prove to you how much you mean to us,” Braxton says, but I shake my head before he’s even done.
