“Well, what are your ideas, genius? Instead of shooting down all of ours,” Dylan hisses.
I cover my mouth, so that they don’t hear me laugh.
“We should just call Kyla and ask her; she’s her best friend,” Braxton says.
I end up texting Kyla and telling her what’s happening before they can call or text her themselves.
“Well, there, I sent her a text. Hopefully she will have an idea,” Dylan says.
Seconds later, his phone goes off and he barks out a laugh.
“What? What did she say?” Braxton asks.
“She said she likes dildos, chocolate chip cookies, and porn,” Dylan replies with a chuckle.
I’m sure my face turns red from hearing what my supposed best friend has said to them.
“She won’t need dildos; she has us,” Braxton growls.
Dylan’s phone rings, and he answers on speaker phone. I hear my best friend’s voice.
“You all want me to tell you the truth? What would make Holly give you the time of day after that big fuck up of yours?” she asks bluntly.
“Yeah, of course,” Easton replies.
“She just needs to know you are serious about her, and for you to show her that she wasn’t just another notch in your belt. That she meant something to you. Holly isn’t one for gifts or useless gestures because she takes actions more seriously than anything else. You all treated her like crap, so she felt like what you had meant nothing. Get it?” she states.
“Yeah, but how do we get her to talk to us if she won’t talk to us? We need to find a way for her to hear that she means everything to us. Helen tried to ruin what we have with her with lies. We hope that what we have with her can be repaired,” Dylan replies softly.
“Holly has been someone special from day one. There was no one else we wanted but her, as soon as she walked into our lives,” Braxton states.
“If she gave me the chance, I would tell her how I haven’t been able to stop thinking about her, and will do whatever it takes to prove how much we want to deserve a woman like her,” Easton says.
Tears are falling down my face as I hear their words.
Kyla clears her throat a couple times and I hear a sniffle. “That’s all you really need to say.”
“How?” Dylan asks, sounding curious.
“It’s simple, she’s in the booth behind you,” Kyla says, and I hear her hang up the phone before there is movement and three men fill my vision.
I’m pulled out of my booth and wrapped up in someone’s arms. I cling to him, and two other sets of arms are wrapped around me. I definitely feel like I’m in the best place in the world.
“Holly?” Easton asks, like he can’t actually believe it.
“We can talk when there isn’t a diner full of people staring at us,” I say.
We all pull away and see everyone’s eyes on us.
“Can we get this food packed up?” Dylan asks, and proceeds to pay both of the bills as the waitress packs all of the food we had ordered up.
They take me out of the diner, and I already know that we are headed back to their place. Probably to have a long overdue conversation.
Possibly one that ends up with the three of them becoming my men, but how will they take the news of the pregnancy?
I can’t wait much longer to tell them. I don’t want them thinking that I’m another Helen.
