I wanted to spend some time with my woman.

“I thought they would never leave,” Grayson says taking off his shirt.

We all strip down to our boxers while Kyla puts on my shirt.

“How are you feeling?” I ask Kyla as I climb in beside her.

“Sore, but it’s a good feeling,” she says kissing me softly.

“That’s good,” I whisper against her lips.

“Can I ask you guys something?” Kyla says hesitantly.

“You can ask us anything,” Levi says seriously.

“Well, where is this going? You know, the future,” she says so softly that I almost don’t hear her.

“We want a future with you in it. Filling this house full of kids. We can’t get married in the traditional sense, but we would like to have a commitment ceremony one day,” Levi says, getting right down to the point.

Kyla blows out a breath, but is quiet for several minutes. I start to worry that Levi had scared her.

“I want that too. I don’t know if I would want to have kids naturally though. I know that it has been years since the transplant, but I guess it scares me that something might go wrong. There are also so many kids out there who need a home and I always thought I would adopt if I got the chance and found the right man for me,” she says.

“I think that’s a great idea. If you don’t want to take the risk, then we don’t either. It’s your body,” I say seriously.

“What about the fact we didn’t use a condom in the bathroom?” Grayson asks hesitantly.

“I am on birth control. Well, I guess it’s the shot. I need to go in every few months to get it, but we are in the clear there,” Kyla says looking over at him.

“Good. We will take each day as it comes. I’m not saying we need to have it all right now, but that’s where I see all of us headed,” Levi says softly. He pulls Kyla in for a soft kiss.

“Sounds perfect,” Kyla says sleepily and, before I know it, her eyes close.

Many nights like this, falling asleep with my four lovers in my bed, sounds like my dream come true.

Kyla completes us in a way I didn’t expect.

Chapter Twenty

Kyla

Three months later…

I spent the last three months with the four men who changed my life. I couldn’t believe that I could be this happy.

It took a few weeks, but it ended up to the point where I was spending every night at their house. Though I hadn’t officially moved in, I was there all the time.

My parents and Holly were more than accepting of them, which helped make it easier. All they wanted was for me to be happy.

I was scared to tell them that I was in love with them. I think they feel the same way about me, but there is still that lingering doubt in my mind. Everything feels too perfect and so happy. What if I wasn’t what they wanted now that they had gotten to know me?

I’m at the office waiting for them to finish up when my phone rings.

I frown at the screen when I see that it’s Holly. She never calls when I’m at work.

“Holly? What’s wrong?” I have a gut feeling this isn’t a social call.

I hear her sniffle and I am immediately on alert. “Terri-ann and Logan were in an accident on their date night last night and, when they were going home, their car was hit by a drunk driver. Terri is gone, honey.”
