“Now, can I giveyoua helping hand?” He presses his lips to my neck and I can’t help the little rumbling moan in the back of my throat. He knows exactly where to touch me, how to touch me. He knows me inside and out. “We can sneak upstairs to my office. I’ve got a desk that would look pretty damn perfect with you spread across it.”

“What about the show?” I look over my shoulder, out of the archway into the gallery’s hall.

“That’s not my job anymore.” He grins. “Let someone else manage it.”

And with that, Rowan sweeps me into his arms and takes me outside, toward the stairs. My mouth is on his, my hands in his hair.

And the future is brighter than ever.
