And as his thrusts get faster and deeper the thick walls start to shake. Then crumble and break. Until suddenly all the weight of the carefully constructed tower of pleasure crashes down on me, burying me under the sparkling hot rubble, unable to breathe or move, unable to escape even if I wanted to. I don’t.
Because I have never felt as good or right as I do right now, in this moment, with him inside me and his strong arms holding me tight, giving me the kind of pleasure that should not be possible. Yet it is. Yet it is all there is. No fear can survive the searing heat of this pleasure.
Whatever I came here to find, I have found it now.

EAGLE
We founda pool made by the river which is shallow enough and secluded enough for the sun to warm the water, so it’s possible to bathe in for more than a couple of minutes. Lily’s bathing there now, her long black hair wet glistening like platinum and her skin golden in the afternoon sun.
She doesn’t know I’m watching and I’ll reveal myself in just a second, but the picture of her right now is so pure, so perfect I can’t actually move just yet. It’s timeless. It’s like we’re the only two people on earth and nothing but our love matters.
I don’t think I’ve ever been happier than I am in this moment, at least not that I remember it. Except maybe when she’s in my arms, when I’m inside her, when she’s shuddering from an orgasm I just gave her.
I can look a little bit longer. She’s used to me lurking around her, watching and waiting. The good thing is, I don’t have to wait and just look anymore. That’s the source of my happiness.
“Why don’t you join me instead of just watching?” she calls, looking at me over her shoulder, even though I’m well hidden behind the thick trunk of a gnarled old tree which has probably been growing since our ancestors were free.
Figures she would see me. She always knows exactly where I am. It’s one of her many special abilities.
It feels so good to know she all mine now. After all these years of yearning, I can finally have her in any which way I want. And I have, over the last couple of days that we’ve been alone in this camp. And she me.
“I was thinking we’d go check the fish traps, then take a walk,” I say instead, because if I go join her now, that’s it for doing anything else for the rest of the day and night.
She grins and wades out of the water, droplets covering her skin, her perfect breasts bouncing slightly and her body moving in the most seductive way I’ve ever seen, even though she’s just walking. I always knew the body she was hiding under her clothes was amazingly beautiful, but I didn’t know just how amazing it was.
“You want to take a spirit walk, don’t you?” she asks excitedly. I figured she’d read that into my suggestion and be all for it.
“Isn’t that only for warriors though?” I ask as I walk over and pick up her towel off the sand, then wrap it around her.
Cold is wafting off her, but it’s underlaid with her natural glowing warmth, and it’s enough to make my head spin for a second. I messed up. I should’ve joined her in the pool. Then we’d both be naked right now, enjoying each other, and what’s better than that?
“Women can be warriors and many are. And were,” she says.
She takes the towel from my hands and starts drying herself vigorously.
“You certainly are,” I say and she gives me a very grateful look.
I love it how now that I’ve had her, now that I’ve tasted and felt every part of her, I can also read her thoughts clearly in her eyes. Never could before, at least not reliably. I don’t know if that’s because she’s not hiding them from me anymore, or because I know her so well, but either way, it’s great.
“I was thinking more just a regular walk, actually,” I say. “I want to see what else is out there.”
She starts dressing quickly, almost toppling over while pulling on her boot while hopping on the other leg.
“I’m ready,” she says with a big smile after bending over to pick up her discarded towel and bunching it up with the clothes she changed from.
“Lead the way,” I say and follow half a step behind her.
She always smelled like all the best things in the world layered together, but since we’ve been here, it’s gotten even better. The wild. She smells like wild nature. Fresh grass, budding leaves, the rich soil that sustains the world, and now the clear river water that brings life. Man, why did I suggest a walk instead?
She strikes a path back to camp, where she first gets a black backpack from the main house, then starts to fill it with two bottles of water from our dwindling supply of food and a box of crackers, which is all we have left in terms of bread, and a half finished pack of beef jerky. Tina is supposed to be bringing back a fresh supply of food when she returns with the volunteers, but she’s taking her sweet time returning.
I hope it doesn’t mean the problem in town regarding the stuff they’ve accused Lily and me hasn’t gotten worse, and I know Lily does too, but I’ve been careful to steer our conversations away from that subject as much as I could.
“We should take flashlights too,” she says. “Maybe.”
“And our phones,” I suggest. “Maybe we’ll find a spot where there’s at least a little bit of signal.”
