I texted him my love for them both and to stay safe, my heart fluttering with worry.
I pushed it aside, knowing my hellhounds could handle this task with ease. I needn’t worry for them.
Bug returned rather quickly once I set my phone down, and I peered up at him as he smiled sheepishly at me. He was holding something behind his back, and I smiled at this. God, he was utterly adorable.
“What have you got?” I asked as I arched an eyebrow at him.
He scratched his ear nervously, and I loved how red they’d already gone as he strode over quickly.
I straightened, grinning as he offered me the bouquet of red roses.
“Aw, that’s so sweet, thank you. I love them,” I said, my heart squeezing as I accepted them.
He climbed onto the bed and bit his lip, unable to meet my gaze as I sniffed the roses and drew in their delicate fragrance.
The sight of him biting his lip made me smile. He really was nervous about doing this, especially since his horns were still out.
“They’re beautiful, thank you,” I murmured as I stared down at the roses lovingly. God, he was so incredibly sweet and thoughtful.
I set the roses down on my bedside table and leaned forward. He stiffened and gave me a shy look as his cheeks flushed.
“We’ll take it slow,” I said sweetly, and he relaxed visibly. I just chuckled as I claimed his mouth and skated my tongue across his lower lip. I’d have to take charge with him to begin with it seemed.
He cupped my cheek, tenderly caressing it as he let me deepen the kiss. I moaned softly as I fisted my hand in his shirt and pulled him closer.
Our tongues battled for dominance as he lay me back on the bed gently, his hands sturdy as he held my sides. A fire was burning within me now, heating me to my very core. Ever since Jack had popped my cherry, a deep ache had awoken within me that drew me to all of them. I always wanted them now, and not just to kiss and hold.
This was a primal desire, an animalistic instinct that drove me.
His hands snuck up under my shirt, brushing over my bare skin ever so softly once more. He was being awfully gentle with me, like his touch would make me shatter like glass.
He broke the kiss, only to drag his lips down the side of my neck, drawing a soft gasp from me. He was careful with his movements since his horns were still out, which I found rather cute.
He littered soft kisses along my neck, his fingers not straying past my lower ribs as he grazed them over my skin, making it prickle. All I wanted was for him to reach just a little bit higher. I knew he wanted to, but he was holding back.
“Can I take your shirt off?” he asked as he pulled back, those dark eyes searching mine nervously as he bit his lip.
The look was absolutely adorable on him, and I reached out to stroke the side of his face lovingly before gliding up to touch the base of his left horn. He looked so worried for some strange reason. I thought he looked utterly amazing with his horns out, and I ran my hand back down the side of his face.
“Yes, you can,” I breathed as I traced my thumb across his lower lip.
An adorable smile broke out across his face, and he dove back down to capture my lips once more. The kiss was only brief though as he pulled back and clambered off the bed.
“Before I do, do you mind if we take this to my room?” he asked, toying with his elastic band. My stomach fluttered at how cute he was being, and also at the prospect of what was to come.
I nodded as I rose from the bed and padded over to join him. He took my hand gently and gave me a small smile before he led me out into the hall. I wondered if his heart was hammering as badly as mine was?
We were really doing this. But why did he want us to do it in his room?
What would Bug be like? What would he try out? He’d seemed interested in tasting me, and the idea of him going down there sure did excite me, although it also unnerved me. Not to mention it could be difficult with his horns.
Did he have lube too? Crap, I probably should’ve grabbed it.
“Just tell me if you want to stop at all, okay?” he said softly as he paused in front of his bedroom door and flicked those dark eyes to me.
I nodded, and he gave me a small smile as he pushed the door open.
