“Also, I realize I don’t have to trust the girls,” I say. “I have to trust you guys and if I trust you enough to marry you, then I don’t need to worry about anyone hitting on you guys.”
Roman cups the back of my neck, hesitating when he wants to touch my hair. “I love you, Bambina.”
“Amore,” I purr.
He groans and gently puts his hand over Gio’s eyes to kiss me hungrily, tongue teasing mine, nibbling my bottom lip, then biting hard until I’m sure I’m going to end up on his lap, fucking him right here in my wedding dress with an audience.
When he draws back, I’m actually shaking. “That’s mean.”
“Is it? I thought it was … nice.” He frees Gio of his hand and Gio giggles before grabbing at my boobs.
Roman nods. “Not fair that he can get away with it.”
“Are you hungry, Gio?” I ask. “Those aren’t going to help you.”
“No matter how good they look,” Roman says before taking a long drink of champagne.
I feel myself go red and pick Gio up as he keeps pulling at my dress and trying to make me flash the entire reception. I approach Danny who’s having a good time with her husband. Massimo sees me first and catches Danny’s hips.
She looks at him, then me. “Hi!”
“I think Gio is a little confused about-” I gasp as he pinches my breast in his tight fingers. “Who’s feeding him.”
“Oh, Gio.” Danny gently unknots his fingers. He looks at her and whimpers. “Are you hungry, baby?”
“I know I am,” Massimo says, far too loudly.
Danny rolls her eyes. “They never change. No matter how you try to train them.”
I’m looking forward to that too.
ROMAN
Sophia is amazing, truly something else. Before she can come back to our table, which she keeps using as an island in the middle of the loud music, dancing, and people eagerly taking pictures with her, I sweep her up to the dance floor.
We’ve never gone out dancing together and I’m starting to think she doesn’t know exactly what I’m capable of. So I pull her back against me and cradle my hips with hers as we move to the music. I knot my fingers in her dress, right above where her underwear sits, and kiss her neck. She slings an arm back around my neck and moans as our bodies roll together.
“Roman, you’re killing me.”
“Is that what you’re calling it now?” I say in her ear before biting it. “I call this foreplay.”
“Foreplay to your foreplay,” She argues.
Gunner comes to a stop in front of us and joins in. holding her hips as she rubs over his chest. He beams at her easy acceptance and gets even closer, his thigh between her legs. “I like this position for you, Sophie.”
Sophie taps the back of my neck. “We’re not the only ones having fun.”
Gunner looks over his shoulder and sees Valerie dancing with both Chase and Hunter just like we are. Gunner grins. “Told you I wasn’t barking up the wrong tree.”
“Well considering she’s kissed Hunter, I think she’s riding the line between hate and lust.”
“Riding it hard.” Gunner turns Sophie’s chin so she can see Leif watching from a table, drinking as his hungry eyes watch. “Think he wants to be involved?”
“I don’t know. I can’t read him,” Sophia says.
I can. He wants Valerie on his lap, doing those exact moves. But Leif has never been one to draw attention to himself. He’s more comfortable in the shadows and working behind the scenes. I don’t remember why we parted ways other than a business conflict, but I don’t know what they’ve been doing since.
And I know that Hunter and Chase’s family is … an odd one. Their father is only half there and they were raised by an uncle after their mother left. All things that don’t have a place in casual conversation.
