Falling For Autumn 22
Autumn
“YoudoknowKolson has never brought a girl to meet me before?” Trena said as they waited in the car for Kolson.
Actually, Autumn hadn’t known that. “No.”
“Oh.” Trena looked out the front window and grinned.
Autumn stared at the restaurant as Kolson exited. He’d never brought a girl to meet her? Not like any boy had met her parents either but she’d never had an official boyfriend.
Kolson’s long legs carried him easily across the parking lot. He slipped into the backseat with her. She felt silly having his mom chauffeur them. But at the same time, liked being near him. When he put his arm around her, her entire body buzzed.
By the time Trena dropped them off at his dorm, Autumn was buzzing with anticipation. She’d loved sitting in the stands watching him. As much as she’d hated watching Preston play, sitting out in the cold, tired and bored, she enjoyed watching Kolson. He’d played most of the game.
Kolson’s mom hugged her then Kolson before she left, telling them to be safe. Autumn wasn’t sure if she meant sexually, but she felt her cheeks warm. She wanted to go all the way with him, but at the same time knew that she needed to tell him her age. There had been a few nights when they were both completely naked and sweating that she’d almost told him she was ready, but then the nagging thought about how she wasn’t being completely honest would hound her. That hadn’t been a good time to bring it up either.
Kolson put his hand on her back and ushered her into the dorms. They made their way up the stairs. She was ready to be kissing him. Even if she thought about telling him tonight, she didn’t want to spoil his high from the game. They hastily made their way to his room. They made it to Kolson’s room, he unlocked it and pushed it open. Once they were inside, he kicked the door shut behind him. His lips pressed to hers.
“What about your roommate?” She wanted nothing more than to be doing the things they were doing. Autumn had been humiliated when he’d walked in on them.
“He’s out for the weekend. Want to stay tonight?”
Her heart thrummed. She’d have to text Mom, but that shouldn’t be a problem. They hadn’t cared when she was late earlier this week. Mom had mentioned something about taking her to the doctor for the pill. Mom hadn’t brought it up again, and though Autumn wanted her to, she hadn’t been brave enough to ask.
Kolson pulled Autumn onto the bed and rolled over. He ran his hand up her leg. There were tingles on her skin as he did this. “I really like these tiny hobbit legs.”
She giggled. “I’m five four. I’m not that short.” Compared to his almost six-foot stature she was.
“Hobbit Hazel.”
She giggled. “Do I look like a hobbit? Seriously?”
He hovered over her, tilted his head. “Eh, maybe.”
“Shut up and kiss me.” She threaded her arms around his neck.
“Bossy.” His hands glided up her sides under the hoodie. He put his nose to hers. “I really like seeing you in my sweatshirt, but I’ll like it better on my floor.”
She leaned up to let him remove it along with the tee she wore underneath. Her skin was cool, but his body warmed her.
Kolson’s mouth was on hers then it trailed down her neck, leaving tingles everywhere he touched.
