Page 18 of Seduction

Ican’t believe that fucking prick took Luke away for a week because ofhisfailings. Well, basically a week. He’s only here to sleep late at night before having to go back in for more idiotic and useless questioning.

Luke did nothing wrong, and I’m beginning to think Daniels knew something was about to go down. How else would he have been to our place so fucking soon after it happened?

It doesn’t make any sense, and I’m not okay with how this is all playing out, but I doubt he’s working alone if he is behind any of this.

He doesn’t have the smarts to pull off hired men like that, and we all fucking know it.

I’m probably being paranoid, but I’m allowed to be when Haliee’s rock has been taken because some sick fuck thinks he has some sort of claim on her.

He’s going to get a rude awakening when he finally comes up against us, instead of pulling a sneak attack in the middle of the night like a pussy.

“Where’s my Doll?” Creed barks the second everyone is back at the house, and I shrug.

“She was making snow angels with Ollie a while ago. I think I heard them in the kitchen.” Just then, we hear a feminine giggle echo through the room, and I blink at him.

“She’s laughing,” Mathias points out, and I smile.

“If anyone can make her smile, it’s Oliver fucking Weever.” I stand up, heading into the kitchen with Creed before freezing at the door.

Haliee is dressed in only a t-shirt that hits mid-thigh, and Ollie is leaning over her, kissing her nose. They both look happy and content, and thoroughly fucked.

“Oh, shit.” I startle them apart while Creed bursts out laughing, making Haliee blush.

“Damn, man! I left you for a few hours and you got your first taste of our Angel without me?” He’s still laughing, shaking his head but smiling. “I’m kind of jealous I didn’t get to see your first time.” Now he’s pouting and Ollie tilts his head at him like he’s assessing if he’s serious.

“She’s exquisite…but I’m kind of glad it was just her and I.” He shrugs, turning back and pulling her into his arms.

“Wow,” I whisper, trying to gather my thoughts. They’re a jumble of turned on by how hot she looks, amazed that Ollie got to be with her before the rest of us, and jealous that she doesn’t look at me the way she looks at him and Luke.

“You alright, Tor?” she asks, her blush still evident and I nod, taking in her concern.

“I’m okay, sweet cheeks, just processing. Are you alright?”

She smiles, walking over to me and tilting her head back to look into my eyes.“I’m as happy as I can be given…everything.” She takes a deep breath, closing her eyes. “I wish Luke was here.” Her voice is sad as the guys watch her, and I pull her into my chest for a hug.

“This isn’t his choice, Haliee. He’s fucking pissed he’s not here.” She nods against my chest, and I feel compelled to lean down and kiss her head before resting mine on hers.

“I know,”she whispers.

“I know I’m not the original Michaels, but I’d be happy to be your knight in shining armour at school this week when he can’t be.” She giggles, pulling away and looking at all of us before settling back on me.

“I’d like that. A lot.” And doesn’t that just do some strange shit to my chest.

“Ummm, Angel?” Ollie sounds scared as fuck, and it has Creed and I on high alert.

“What’s wrong?” She looks puzzled and he swallows.

“You-you’re uh…bleeding. Did I hurt you?”

She looks behind her before squeaking and running off. “Umm, shit! Ollie, you didn’t hurt me I promise! Just uh…” She pauses, slamming the bathroom door. “Female…things!” she squeaks out, and I blink.

“What the fuck does that mean?” Creed asks and Ollie snorts, blushing himself.

“I’d say it means she’s having female issues. Most likely that monthly bleeding thing I was reading about.”

I choke.

“Reading? Monthly bleeding? What the fuck?!” I’m so confused right now, and he sighs.
