“I want to feel every inch of myself sink into you, Holly.”
I kiss her as she slowly sinks down on top of me. She’s so wet and tight, and I fit so perfectly inside of her. I can’t believe how fucking lucky I am to have found her. She’s my home, my everything. I love her so much that sometimes when I look at her, I think my heart is going to burst.
“Use me, Holly,” I beg her. “Use me however you want to take your own pleasure. I want to watch you come apart on my cock, baby girl.”
She braces her hands on my shoulders and begins to take her pleasure from me, moving and bouncing on her knees. I grip onto her hips and meet her thrusts, fucking her from underneath. It doesn’t take long for either of us to get there.
I wait as long as I can, watching the way her mouth forms an O and her neck and face flush with her orgasm. Hers sets mine off as she milks me for all I’m worth. Every muscle in my body tenses, and my whole body heats with pleasure. I come inside of her, relishing in the feeling of coming inside of her.
“I love you,” she whispers, collapsing onto my chest. I hold her close, running my fingers through her hair as we both take deep breaths.
“I love you, baby girl.”
“And our new baby,” she says with a grin.
“Yes, and our new addition to the family.” I laugh. “Let’s get cleaned up. I don’t know about you, but I’m exhausted. I’m going to sleep like a damn log.”
“It’s only 10:00 p.m., old man,” she jokes, laughing as she lifts herself off me and climbs off the bed.
“Leave this poor old man alone. He’s tired.”
She smiles and tosses a rag my way from the bathroom before disappearing to clean herself up. A few minutes later, she’s crawling back into bed and cuddling herself into my embrace.
“Happy birthday, Nick,” she whispers.
“Thank you, baby.”
And I hold her until we both fall asleep.
After a few days of having the entire cabin to ourselves, Nick’s kids show up to spend a few days with him for his birthday. Their rooms are in the basement of the cabin. Well, I say basement, but it’s just because half of it is underground. They actually have their own huge screened-in porch down there that has bar seating and a hot tub.
It’s also where all the game tables are. Nick put in a pool table, Ping-Pong table, and a few arcade machines. So they have it pretty good down there. It also means we can still have plenty of distance between us at night so that we can have some privacy as well.
We all decide to go on a hike since the weather is absolutely perfect for it. And I’m interested to see how Scout does on a leash for something more than a short walk around the neighborhood. Charlotte gets him into his harness while Henry finishes up a phone call with a girl he swears isn’t his girlfriend.
I haven’t pushed or teased him on the issue, but Nick has since the girl in question is supposedly a good friend of Henry’s from high school. I’m thinking I’ll have to talk to him later about that because the last thing Nick wants to do is push his kid away just because he’s interested in an old friend.
It takes us about a half hour to drive to the trail. And the whole time, Scout is moving from Charlotte’s to Henry’s lap to look out the windows and sniff all the smells. I hold Nick’s hand and breathe in the fresh fall air. I don’t think my heart has ever been so full.
“Have you decided on any colors for the wedding?” Charlotte asks after we’ve been walking for a few minutes. Henry and his dad have fallen into conversation behind us.
“Do I need colors?” I ask her. “It’s just going to be close family. I didn’t think I needed to do all those traditional things.”
“Of course you do!” Charlotte says indignantly. “I know there aren’t going to be a lot of us there, but that doesn’t mean things shouldn’t match!”
I laugh.
“Okay, well, when I booked the cake, I got one of those naked ones, you know? Where there’s icing, but the cake still kind of shows through. And since it’s Christmas, it’ll be red velvet with greenery and stuff on it.”
“That sounds gorgeous,” she says, sighing. “So maybe the blankets we get could be red and cream? And I could try to find a red dress to wear unless your mom would want to wear red.”
“I really don’t think she’ll care, Char.” I smile over at her. “You’d look gorgeous in red. My mom can wear a champagne color or something. That would look pretty, right?”
I do love that she’s taking an interest in this wedding. Not only does it mean she approves of her dad and me being together, but it shows me that she’s excited about it. And I wasn’t lying when I told her Nick doesn’t have any input. He wants me to make this a wedding that I love, and he agrees with everything I want.
Which is great because I get what I want. But it also means I have no one to give me any critique on my ideas either.
“Ooh, definitely! And it’ll match the pretty fur you got to wear over your wedding dress. What about flowers? Decorations? Am I overstepping and being pushy? Sorry.” She looks down, embarrassed, but I throw my arm around her shoulders and bring her in for a quick hug.
