He was looking at me in silence and before he could say something, I just added, “We better get back to the party.”
He kissed me one more time and went to grab my panties. I slid off the counter, and he went to put them on me.
“Kristoff, I can do it by myself,” I protested.
“I took them off, and I’ll put them on you,” he murmured and kissed my pussy as he pulled my panties over it. A shiver went through my body. I almost wanted him to take them off so we could start again. Instead, he stood up and pulled his own pants on, zipping them up.
I hurriedly washed up, pulled my fingers through my hair to straighten the disheveled mess, and ensured my make up was still intact while Kristoff patiently waited for me, leaned against the bathroom door. As soon as I cleaned myself up, I walked over to him, and he wrapped his arms around me and we went back to the party. Hand in hand we walked through the porch into the backyard. My eyes immediately sought out my kids, and I saw them all still playing with Betty’s kids.
Betty and Rick sat nearby chatting with some guests. Rick spotted us and waved us over. We walked towards them, and as we got closer, my girls looked up and smiled at us. Saoirse and Sierra eagerly pulled us to them to show us what they had built. Saoirse chatted away to Kristoff. He listened intently, answered her numerous questions, and helped her with ideas while Sierra was content building with me. I looked up, and saw Sienna and Jack in a lively discussion about something.
Too bad Kristoff doesn’t have his own children,I thought to myself. He was good with them, very patient. I looked back to Jack thinking how he would have been his son if his ex-wife wouldn’t have cheated on him with his best friend. Kristoff was focused on helping Saoirse build her tower. They were discussing the stability of it, which made me smile.
I noticed Rick looking at me, so I waved and smiled at him. He stood up from his party and approached our little building squad.
“Hey, where did you two disappear?” he asked. “You’ve been gone awhile.”
I noted from the side of my eye that Kristoff looked up at him, his gaze cold.
“Oh, we got sidetracked with Betty’s sunroom. Kristoff is redecorating his house.”
I smiled at Rick, and just at that moment, I saw caterers bringing the cake.
“Ah, cake is coming,” I mentioned and looked at my five-year-old rebel. “Saoirse, once we have cake, we will be leaving. Got it?”
Saoirse was ignoring me. So I repeated my statement. “Saoirse, once we have cake, we will be leaving. Got it?”
She glared at me this time and answered, “Got it, Mommy. Are you going to stay longer, Kristoff?” she asked him.
“Nope, I will be leaving at the same time as you.” Kristoff looked at me, and then his eyes narrowed at Rick who was still watching us.
“Ok,” Rick said, shifting uncomfortably under Kristoff’s stare. “I have to go check on the cake.” And he was gone.
“Hey,” I whispered to Kristoff as we were getting ready to join the crowd. “Is everything ok?”
“Yes,” he leaned and gave me a quick kiss on the cheek.
Within the next half an hour, we sang “Happy Birthday,” ate some cake, and we were ready to go. Sienna and Jack exchanged numbers, and while I didn’t like his parents, I actually didn’t mind the boy at all.
As Sienna and Jack were saying goodbye, Jonathan looked at me and asked, “Will you let your daughter talk to my son? They exchanged their phone numbers.”
“Yes,” I answered honestly. “Sienna can pick her own friends, and unless I notice that they are harmful or hurting her, I won’t interfere.”
Jonathan looked at me like he didn’t believe me. I didn’t really care, and I wasn’t going to add anything else to my answer.
“You’re good for him,” Jonathan commented without making any sense. I raised an eyebrow not understanding what he meant.
Then he added, “You are just what Kristoff needs. You’re good for him.”
He shocked the hell out of me, leaving me staring at him dumbfounded.
Kristoff approached at that moment looking distrusting at Jonathan. Sienna and Jack were right behind him.
“Did you have fun?” I asked them both.
“Yes, ma’am. Saoirse and Sierra introduced me to their friends, and Sienna introduced me to other teenagers…” He hesitated for a bit, and then added, “Would it be ok if I call Sienna? We exchanged numbers, and maybe we would like to go out to the movies sometimes?”
“Sure, Jack,” I answered with a smile. And then turned to Sienna. “As long as it doesn’t interfere with your studies and homework. Jack, I am sure your parents feel the same.”
