My back arched off the bed and I cried out in pleasure, fisting the sheets. “Alexander!”

I rocked my hips into his mouth, as his tongue licked mercilessly, plunged into me, sucking and nipping. His fingers joined his mouth and he teased my slit with his digits. I pressed myself on his mouth harder when he pushed two fingers into me, slowly, teasingly, deliciously.

I couldn’t take any more of the intense and sweet torture. I grabbed his hair as his tongue and fingers tortured me ruthlessly, but he didn’t stop.

When I came, it was all over his face; the mind-blowing orgasm crashing through my entire body. I shuddered on the bed, my hands clenching the sheets hard, his head trapped between my clenched thighs. But he didn’t seem to mind as he continued lapping me, prolonging my pleasure as much as he could. And the way he kept licking and kissing my pussy even after my breathing turned to normal was somehow more intimate than the oral sex we shared.

As Alexander looked at me with an arrogant smile on his lips after a job well done, I knew he was and would always be the force of lust that swept me off my feet.

I thought about the words my mom said a long time ago.

“Mom, why don’t you get married?” I asked her curiously. She was a beautiful woman, and I knew there were several men who would have loved to date her.

Lena and I were in high school, and boys were quickly becoming one of the main topics of our discussion.

“Because when you find the one person that consumes your heart, body, and soul, you are never happy with anyone else.” She glanced out the window, her gaze dreamy and sad at the same time. “When you find the one, you can never forget him.”

Alexander Caldwell would be the one that I’d never forget. I instinctively knew it.

I laidin bed nervous with anticipation for today’s court hearing. I glanced over to the nightstand on my side and noted it was barely five in the morning. It was way too early. Alexander’s arms were wrapped around me, as if he was ensuring I’d stay close. Last night was amazing. Thanks to his distracting ways, I didn’t spend last night with anxiety eating me alive. Instead, I had orgasms. So many of them.

I forced my brain back to now and pushed last night's events out of my mind. Our court case was today, and I had to make sure nothing went wrong. I needed a clear head.

Knowing there was no possibility I’d get back to sleep, I carefully wiggled myself out of Alexander’s arms and headed for the shower. I took my time, knowing that most of the household was still fast asleep. It was the first time that I had some time alone in almost two weeks.

After the shower, I quietly tiptoed around the room, gathering clothes to wear for the court hearing. I wasn’t quite sure what I should wear, business attire or maybe something that is just me. I opted for something in the middle, a white pencil skirt with a navy striped blouse and grabbed a pair of navy shoes with an inch heel to put on later. I glanced in the mirror one more time. My hair fell down my back in luscious, thick, dark waves. I had little makeup applied on my eyes and lips. All in all, I looked decent, although slightly younger than I should look for someone asking for full-time custody of a child. I wasn’t sure how I should look since it wasn’t something I ever had to worry about in the past.

Alexander was still sleeping as I softly shut the bedroom door and headed in search of the kitchen. I headed down the marble stairs, and as I got to the last step, I sat on the cold marble to put on my shoes.

“What are you doing up so early?” I practically jumped at the sound of Maxim’s voice.

I put a hand to my chest. “Maxim, you gave me a fright!”

“I’m sorry.” He seated himself on the step next to me. “Why are you up so early?”

“I couldn’t get back to sleep,” I replied. “I think I’m nervous.”

“About what?” he asked, genuinely curious.

“Today is the court hearing for Brandon’s custody.”

“Ahh,” he stated, understanding in his voice. “Don’t worry. Alexander probably ensured he got the judge and social service representative he wanted for the needed verdict. He’ll never let anything happen to you two.”

I believed him, but I still couldn't shake off my worry. Till this was all behind us, I’d worry. I didn’t want to fail Lena and Larry.

“Where is the kitchen here?” I changed the subject. There was no sense to discuss what could potentially happen today. We would find out in a few hours anyhow.

“C’mon.” He took my hand. “I’ll show you.”

We got to the kitchen, and I made us both some coffee.

“I met your father yesterday,” I said as I handed him his cup and sat down.

Maxim’s head whipped up, his eyes full of shock. “What? Alone?”

That was an odd reaction. “No, we were having dinner at the restaurant and he came with Eizabeth.”
