“I won’t pursue it further,” his voice was smooth and I sighed at his words. “Under three conditions.”
“Yes?” Of course, he would negotiate!
“You and Brandon will come back.”
I couldn’t help but gasp in surprise. That was unexpected. “Why?”
“That is one of my conditions.”
“Ok,” I muttered. This man would forever be the enigma to me. “What are the other two?” I couldn’t help but ask curiously.
“You submit to me whenever I want.” While his one hand was still on my neck, his other hand wrapped around my knee. I gasped as intense need pulsed between my thighs. I wanted him to take the hand higher so I could feel him where I needed him the most.
My mind was in the gutter. My husband must have made a sex addict out of me because my mind was full of wicked images of what Alexander would do to my body and how I would enjoy every minute of it.
“What does that mean?” I asked in a breathless voice, while my body throbbed with need for him. I needed to stop thinking with my body. It was betraying me in the worst way possible.
“It means, wife...” His hand crawled up my thigh too slowly, burning my skin, “if I want to bend you over this desk right now, you will let me.”
I licked my lips, my heart thundering in my ears. If he said another word and brushed against my pussy now, I was sure I’d orgasm. I wanted him to do it… I craved for him to do it.
I needed to get my reason back. I needed my sanity back.
“And the third condition?” I was actually impressed with myself. I remembered there was a third condition.
“You stop all your communications with Callen McLeod.” His voice was hard. “He is not to reach out to you again. If he does, the deal is off.”
“What?” I uttered in shock. “What kind of condition is that?”
“Those are my conditions, Liberty.” His eyes never wavered from mine, removing his hands from my body and I instantly regretted the loss. “Take it or leave it.”
“Why do you want that company anyhow?” It was so much easier to think now that his hands weren’t on my skin.
“That is no concern of yours.”
“That is such bullshit and you know it.” My anger slowly crept in because of his dismissive demeanor. “I should know why, if I am required to agree to these three conditions.”
“You are getting your way.”
I stared at him like he was crazy.
“Are you mad?” I spat furiously. “I am getting absolutely nothing out of this.”
“What is it going to be?” he asked instead. “I don’t have all day to waste on this.”
This was ridiculous. This had absolutely nothing to do with me. Why am I putting myself through this? Neither one of these men were worth this bullshit.
“You know what, I don’t need this shit,” I went to leave, but he put his hands on my waist, holding me in place. “I was actually here to save your ass and Caldwell’s name not Callen.”
He stilled and his grip tightened as my body melted with his touch.
“What do you mean?” he asked with a surprise in his voice.
I tried to wiggle out of his hold, alarmed at my body’s response to his touch. “Let go of me, Alexander. I had enough of this bullshit.”
Before words even left my mouth, his mouth was on mine. His lips crushed mine. The kiss was brutal, passionate, and desperate. His tongue plunged into my mouth. His kiss, his smell, and his touch were a familiarity I missed over the last two weeks.
Keep your head together.I firmly pushed away from him, both of us gasping for our breath.
