“Nah,” Hayden says. “She was in Boston visiting her friend or something.”
The party is raging around us, bumping from the speakers Hayden has set up in the living room, the walls shaking from the volume. I inhale the sweet, earthy smoke from the blunt, then pass it to Hayden. Carson still won’t smoke with us, saying he needs to keep his lungs in good shape for football—but that doesn’t stop him from drinking his body weight in beer every time we’re over here. Tonight, he’s taking it easy, though, since he doesn’t want to stay here or something. So, I’m drinking for two.
“You gonna see your dad while you’re there?” Carson asks Hayden, making me narrow my eyes. Hayden’s dad is a piece of shit. I’ve been in this house probably just as much as I have my own, and I still haven’t met the fucker. He leaves Hayden here alone, letting him fend for himself with no-limit platinum cards.
“Who knows,” Hayden says flatly. “Trav still hasn’t reconnected with the family, so it’s definitely not on the to-do list.”
I raise my brows. “Travis doesn’t talk to anyone in the family?”
“Just me,” Hayden says, laughing. “His dad’s a bigger piece of shit than mine.”
“Debatable,” I grumble.
I really, really don’t like the guy.
I hear the song change in the living room, and then one of my favorites starts banging out through the speakers, so I decide to take this sour conversation and end it. I pull on Carson’s hand. “Dance?”
He nods, looking at his friends. “You guys coming?”
Levi nods, downing the rest of his beer, but Hayden puts out the blunt on the counter and shakes his head. “Nah, I’m gonna find something to put my dick in.”
“Jesus Christ.” I look at him, disgusted. “That’s foul.”
He just shrugs and leads the way into the living room, but once we reach the dance floor and stop to dance, he keeps going toward the back of the house. Levi finds someone to grind on, and Carson pulls me into him when I roll my hips to the beat.
His large hands wrap around my waist, and his face falls into my neck as we move together. The heat from his body makes a light layer of sweat break out on my back, but I keep dancing, keep circling and swaying my ass against him until I feel that he’s hard under his zipper, and then I turn around to face him.
Looking up at him, his face is flushed, and I can’t hold myself back from kissing him hard, making our teeth clank together. His fingers dig into my flesh, and I continue to grind my hips against him as we kiss madly and messily. My heart races, my blood rushing through my entire body and turning my flesh to embers. I pull back, breathing against his mouth. “Want to fuck you.”
He kisses me again, sliding his tongue against mine a few times before he pulls away. “Let’s go.”
I nod as he grabs my hand and leads me upstairs, keeping me close to him as we dodge people littering the staircase.
The hallway that lines the second floor of Hayden’s house is crowded with people either smoking, drinking, or making out—all celebrating the end of the school year the only way they know how. But when we finally reach the door to Carson’s designated room, he doesn’t bother knocking, knowing that everyone is aware this room is off limits.
We push through the door, finding Hayden sitting on the edge of the bed, someone kneeling in front of him on the floor, his dick down their throat. Hayden doesn’t react, just grins as he grips the back of the guy’s head and pushes it down roughly until we hear gagging.
“MyGod, Hayden!” Carson groans, turning around to leave. “You know this is my fucking room!”
Hayden laughs, which makes me laugh too, but I can’t seem to look away from what’s happening in front of me. Although I have no sexual attraction to Hayden anymore, there’s just something so erotic about finding two guys hooking up that makes my feet cement to the floor.
Hayden doesn’t let the guy stop, just keeps using his hand to control his head.
Who is that?I mouth to Hayden silently, pointing to the guy as my mouth curves into an amused smile.
“Tom Peters,” Hayden answers me loudly, his mouth spreading into a sinister grin.
I throw my head back and laugh, and Carson grabs my hand to pull me out of the room.
“Levi was right, it’s funnier this way!” Hayden shouts after me before Carson slams the door shut.
“Well, we’re never fucking inthereagain,” Carson says with a huff, leading me back downstairs.
I pull his hand, making him stop walking, pointing behind me with my thumb. “Can we find somewhere else to go?”
He shakes his head. “The moment is ruined.”
I laugh, walking behind him when he starts up again. “God, you see someone else’s dick, and you can’t fuck your girlfriend anymore?”
