I groan, “Oh my god,stop.”
She laughs again, and swirls her drink around in her cup, “I’m just saying, if you ever want to add someone to the mix, Mac’s dick is amazing. I wouldn’t mind letting you borrow him.”
“Thank you for your sacrifice,” I laugh, “But, I don’t think Trav will let anyone get within five feet of me.”
Like clockwork, the man himself walks through the doors across the room, his two best friends in tow behind him, and a smile catches at the edges of my lips.
I never thought a man could be beautiful before I met Travis, but it’s the perfect word to describe him. It’s like god took a little extra time designing him – or poured way too much sexual charisma into the pot – like he carved him from fucking gold and something completely individual to him.
His eyes find mine from across the room, and his mouth mirrors mine in a grin that speaks for itself.
Mine.
Summer turns to see what I’m smiling about and squeals a little when she sees her two beaus heading towards her.
We both stand, and Summer races across the crowded café to climb Mac, her lips finding his while Jax watches from the sidelines, a scowl on his face.
“Pretty girl.”
My hands find Travis on instinct, sliding up his chest to circle around his neck, his eyes search my face while his arms wrap around my waist to lift me closer so he can kiss me.
He hums through our kiss, when he pulls away, he speaks against my lips, “My girl.”
My cheeks burn from the smile that refuses to leave my face, and I rub my nose against his before pulling away to return to the table.
Travis plants himself in my seat, pulling me down on top of him. Summer is standing with Mac and Jax, all three of them watching us with careful eyes. I blink at my best friend in question before motioning with my hand for her to sit.
The guys pull chairs up at our table, and Jax helps himself to Summer’s latte. I sip my own drink while everyone settles in and gets comfortable.
Travis’s arms are a thick band of muscle around my waist, so I lean farther back to savor the feel of him.
“What’s the plan for today?” Summer asks no one in particular.
Jax rubs his hands together in front of him, but Mac speaks first, “Hamptons, baby.”
My eyebrows raise when I meet Summer’s eyes in question, to which she shrugs, relaying my thoughts out loud, “You want to go to the Hamptons today?”
Mac runs a hand along her arm, “I’m telling you that we are going to the Hamptons,” he makes a circular motion in the air with his hand around the table, “All of us,” he continues, “For a week.”
“A week?” I pipe up, and Travis’s arms tighten around me for a split second.
Summer laughs, “Was this the plan the whole time? Get close to us, then take us out of town to murder us?”
Jax chuckles from next to Summer and makes a crude comment under his breath that I’m happy to have missed, stroking along her throat with one of his large hands, to which she bats away.
“We’ve known each other for almost a month, if I wanted to kill you I would have already.” Mac rolls his eyes.
She gives him a roll of her eyes in response, then looks at me to ask my opinion. I shrug, so she grins at me.
Jax’s eyebrows dip, “Are you guys having a silent conversation again?”
Travis’s chest shakes underneath me with a laugh, and I chuckle when Summer and I both answer him at the same time, “Yes.”
“It’s so fucking creepy how you two do that.” Mac adds.
“Alright,” Summer says, “We’re in. When do we leave?”
I down the rest of my latte, then turn to Travis. He’s smiling like a kid in a candy store, and his lips find my jaw when he notices me watching him.
