I lift myself off of the wall I was leaning on and saunter over to him. I get close, close enough that his eyes dilate from my shadow, and my breath washes over his face. "Pray you get fucked in the ass by a smallratero,güey.Prison is a tough place, so I've heard," I shake my head, whistling through my teeth.
"Are you serious?" Mason asks in a low, horrified whisper. "Are you fucking serious?!" he screams. He leaps at me, and I smile.
"You set me up!" he's red-faced, frothing mad. I let him get in a few good hits while he figures it all out. "You sent my dad to prison! How the fuck? Why?"
I grab him and pin him to the floor by his neck. My fingers dig in, but I keep my claws in. I don't want law enforcement to wonder about his scars, do I? He stops struggling, going still. His head is half-turned away from me, the one eye that can see me swiveling almost to the back of his head.
"You fucked with my woman," I tell him, just in his ear.
"No!" he sobs. "Who?"
"Not your problem anymore,güey.You have other shit to worry about."
"The Mu's. That little heifer-" he snarls.
"Is mine," I punch him in the ribcage with my free hand to shut him up. "And I hate seeing her cry. Then you fucked with my boy,sí? Two problems you caused me." I cluck my tongue, "estúpido, Mason.
When I hear the sirens in the distance, I stand up and smile down at the quivering, sobbing Mason."Vete a la verga, puto."

34 - We Have a Problem
Cassidy
"Please? You didn't let us run at the bar because we were so close to LoboGris, but now we're hours away, and the campus is practically empty, anyway," I beg Nico.
Carmichael's little brother has never looked more like Carm before. Arms crossed over his chest, perma-scowl etched on his face. He's not even entertaining the idea of a pleasant, safe, little pack run hours and hours away from LoboGris.
"We don't even go far, Nico. We're omega wolves!" I tell him, exasperated. He won't budge, but I'm desperate for him to let us go. Mattie and I haven't run in such a long time.
"If we all go with them..." Alize says with doubt clear in her voice.
"Let's go on that run," Nico says abruptly. "I think we need to work off some energy."
"Where's Holt?" Mattie asks, looking around.
I smile at him. "With Deanna. They got locked in her room together and can't find the key."
Mattie looks at me with pride. "Odd."
Nico rolls his eyes. "Who is going to go? You both need protection,sí?"
"We have you and Alize," I point out. José and Adriana went to the Alpha-Ups house to pack Rique and Carmichael's things, and Holt and Deanna are hopefully making up and will get married and have at least three pups. "Please, Nico. Soon I won't be able to shift until the pup is born."
Nico huffs out a breath. "A short run. No one knows we are here,sí?" he says, as if to himself.
"Thank you, Nico!" I jump up and down in excitement.
Calm, firm hands settle on my shoulders and stop my leaping around. "We can take the Jeep to the park," Alize says.
Nico tears his gaze away from my chest. "Sí,bueno." Turning abruptly, he walks out of the front door, his ears slightly red.
Mattie captures my hand, laughing so hard tears are pouring out. "Maybe Alize will also help you be a little less clumsy, BumbleBee."
I stick my tongue out at my twin. I was given the nickname because I 'bumble around and buzz like a bee,' according to Mina.
At least we get to run. Goodness, it's been a while. My omega-wolf is yearning to stretch her legs just a bit.
