“At the same time…”

“Oh.” I realized what he was talking about. “Ohh.” I started nodding rapidly. “Ok. Cool. Cool, cool, cool.” I don’t know why I was acting so weird, maybe because of the ale? “Like all of you?” I pointed at everyone outside and then immediately was drawn to Gage.

“Oh no! Goddess no!” Calix laughed. “Just us three, typically.”

“Could you imagine Gage?” Enzo chimed.

Calix and Jace both laughed then realized what they were laughing at and who they were talking to.

“Right… uhh anyways…” Jace said scratching his head.

I smiled. “That seems like fun.”

They all looked at one another.

“Who wouldn’t want you three stud muffins?” I took another sip of ale and walked back to the fire.

I could tell they were still shocked by my reaction, but I didn’t want to make it a big deal. I knew I was inexperienced in all- or most things sexual, but was quickly realizing how much I still had to learn. I didn’t want to make it obvious because I didn’t want them to handle me with kid gloves. I had never really thought about having all of them at the same time, but now I was definitely curious. That would seem like a lot, but then I wouldn’t have to choose.

I stared at each of them and thought about what it would be like in bed with them. I felt like Jace would be kind and nurturing, Enzo would be fun and wild and Calix… I don’t know about him. I was still having a hard time wrapping my head around having them all at the same time.

“You ok?” Garrison asked walking over.

“Yea.”

He looked around and then leaned in and whispered. “Don’t let Gage get to you… he’s been through a lot and doesn’t let people in.” He laughed. “Who am I to talk? He still hasn’t let me in…”

I offered him the bottle.

“Fuck Gage.” I said a little too loudly, so I patted the air. “Just kidding, of course.” I smiled at Barrett.

I don’t know what it was about him that drove me crazy. Earlier tonight, when he was sitting by the fire… the way the light flickered across his dark and worn face with his constant shadow of a beard and something about the fuck off attitude affixed to his forehead was driving me crazy.

I yawned as a sudden onslaught of exhaustion swept over me. “I think I’m going to bed.”

Garrison looked around. “I still don’t have a bed…”

“You can stay in mine tonight until they figure something out.” I looked over at Enzo and saw he was listening to us. “Assuming that’s ok?”

“Yea, of course.” Enzo smiled, and I noticed Jace and Calix both rolled their eyes.

“I’ll stay in yours another night.” I said, looking at both of them.

They both smiled and Enzo added, “I’ll be up in a little while.”

“That’s fine.”

I made my way inside, pausing briefly at Gage’s door, and then continued up the stairs.

As soon as my head hit the pillow, I was out.

I softly knocked on the door.

Gage opened, filling the doorway with his shirt off.

I couldn’t help but stare at the beautifully sculpted torso with speckles of dark hair spread throughout. I reached up to run my hands across it, feeling the ripples below the tips of my fingers.

“You shouldn’t be here, Snow.”
