“Are you going to let me go?” I struggled against the ropes. “Fallon! Let me go! Fallon!”
But he was walking away.
And he left the door opened.
“Fallon!” I struggled in earnest now. Sobbing, I screamed his name again. “Fallon!”
Two figures ran into the room, but neither of them was Fallon.
I screamed for him. I screamed even when their teeth dug into my neck. I screamed when they tore apart my body, one clawed fist at a time.
The pain.
So much pain.
Then nothing.
