Lin steps up to me next.

“I’ve got your something borrowed and something blue. I want these back, because they were a gift from Kade.” She says and holds up the most beautiful diamond and Sapphire teardrop earrings.

“Oh, these are beautiful,” I tell her and put them on.

“We also wrapped some blue ribbon in your bouquet just to be safe.” Lin smiles.

I turn to take in my complete ensemble in the mirror, as Lin stands beside me in her lavender bridesmaid dress. It’s a floor length chiffon that flows like mine. It’s an A-line with spaghetti straps, and the sales lady said it was a silhouette style. I just know that it’s flowy enough to hide any baby bump, and it somehow matches mine. Lin looks stunning in it.

I turn to face her. “We did it, you know,” I say with a smile.

“Did what?” She asks.

“We’re getting our happily ever after. You’re already growing our family. We’ll raise them like our parents raised us. To be best friends and grow up next door together and running The Inns together.” I say.

The smile that takes over Lin’s face is huge.

“Let’s get you married.” She says.

The town spared no details for this wedding. It’s at sunset on the beach in front of Sunset Inn. There are lanterns with candles lining the rose petal covered aisle. Behind me is a beautiful arch that will frame us with tulle and fairy lights, during the ceremony.

There are five empty seats up front with candles in them. Two for Brynn’s parents, two for Lin’s parents, and one for my dad.

Before I can start down the emotional ride of not having my dad here, the ceremony starts. But when Brynn steps off the porch and makes her way to me, nothing else matters.

Her dress reflects off the candlelight, as she walks down the aisle. She’s smiling from ear to ear, and I memorize every detail about this moment. Her dress, and the way her hair is pulled up in curls. The tiara, and the necklace I gave her. It all works perfectly together.

When she is finally in front of me, I feel like I can breathe again, and I can’t stop smiling. I nod and say all the right words, though what they are, I can’t tell you, so I’m thankful my mom assigned someone to video the whole ceremony.

When I slide the ring onto Brynn’s finger, the symbol that she’s mine, and she carries my mark on her, is such a turn on I have to think about something else, so I don’t pop wood in front of the whole town.

Brynn sliding the ring onto my finger has the same effect on me, and thankfully, it’s time to kiss the bride. A slow, possessive kiss that shows her and everyone around us what she means to me.

“I’m proud to introduce for the first time, Mr. and Mrs. Jasper Adams.” Josh says. Josh has presided over many weddings here on the beach, so it only seemed natural he’d marry us as well.

After we walk down the aisle and back into The Sunset Inn, I pull Brynn to our room. Construction started on her parents’ place two weeks ago, updating the kitchen and bathrooms and repainting. As soon as it’s ready, we’re moving in, and until then, we’re staying here in Brynn’s room.

I pin my bride to the door, when we’re in the room and kiss her like I wanted to on the beach, only I don’t want anyone else to see her like this. I run my hands all over her body, and as beautiful as the dress is, I’m hating how it’s keeping me from her body right now.

“My wife, I want you so much. Think we can skip the reception?” I ask, knowing we can’t, nor would I let her, because I want her to have this memory.

She groans, before answering me. “We have to go out there but just think. All the teasing will lead to an explosive night.” She says.

“And the worst case of blue balls I have ever had.” I groan, already in pain of wanting her so much.

She chuckles, “Do you really want to tell our kids the reason there are no reception photos is because Daddy couldn’t stay out of Mommy long enough.”

“Maybe, when they’re eighteen, sure.” I sigh, but I know she’s right. “Okay, let’s go show you off, but be prepared to not wear clothes for the next few days.”

“Deal.”
