Grace smiled. “I see where you get your moves from.”
“My mom wants us to come down to the station. She says that your sisters and the whole town is there and she wants to see us again before she and my dad head back home tonight.”
Audrey had mentioned that Brewed Awakenings was setting up a booth at the station’s Thanksgiving Open House and asked her to come by.
“I know you want to work on the house,” Easton said gently. “But I think a day with our family would be good.”
Grace did not miss that he’d used the term “our family” and she liked the sound of it. A lot.
“Okay.” She agreed as Easton took Cleo out of her arms and helped her stand.
After they locked up the house, she reached into her pocket to pull out her keys. When she pulled them out, Easton took them from her. “I’ll drive.”
Grace gladly released them. “Okay, but can we go home first so I can change?”
He stopped and pressed a kiss to her forehead. “We can do anything you want.”
Well, that settled it. If Grace had any doubt in her mind that she was in love with this man, his forehead kiss and answer had erased it.
After opening the passenger door and making sure she and Cleo got in, Easton went around and climbed in the driver’s seat. As soon as he did Cleo left Grace’s lap and curled up on Easton’s.
As they made the short drive back to the B&B Grace stared out the window. She had always dealt in facts, and the fact was, as much as she’d like to deny it, she was head over heels, madly in love with Easton Bishop.
She glanced over at him and saw Cleo purring as she nuzzled into his chest. And she wasn’t the only one.
