“No. Okay, I’ll feed from Troy.”
I flattened my hands on his chest as I tried to read past his words. “Really?”
He nodded. “Maybe it’s worth sticking around, if for no other reason than to see Troy living in the yard.”
“I’m not sleeping in the yard.” Troy’s voice came from behind me, reminding me of how wrapped up in Kase I had been. I’d entirely forgotten how good his hearing was—or that he was still anywhere around.
I glanced over my shoulder to find Troy there, his eyes bright, the way they turned when his wolf crept toward the surface.
Was it jealousy? Excitement at the feeling of being fed from?
Did it matter?
I went to move but Kase kept a hand on my hip, keeping me in his lap. His gaze was locked on Troy. “You’re sure?”
Troy nodded. “Same as last time. We’ve got mutual goals, and this benefits us both.”
Kase’s grip remained, the same uncertainty. For a moment I thought he’d back out, that he’d decide against it.
Instead, he returned his gaze to mine. “And you? You want this again?”
Wasn’t that an easy answer? Get to feel Kase and Troy together again? Get lost in the feeling of their hands, their mouths, their cocks?
It was almost enough to make saving Kase’s life a distant second.
“Fuck, yes,” I said, because there wasn’t any other answer to an offer like that.
