“So do I. I really like it. Are you ready for another boyfriend?”
I smile. “In general? Or are we talking about you?”
“Well I was talking about me,” he says, rubbing his hands on my thighs. “But I guess I can help you find someone else. I think Sam’s single.”
I tug at his shirt until he pulls it over his head. “Sam’s adorable, but I think I might be a little too wild for him. How do you feel about wild?”
“Big fan of it.” He watches me as I start running my hands all over his muscles.
“God, I missed your chest. It’s been much too long.”
“It’s only been a couple of hours,” he says, pulling the shirt over my head, “but right back at you.”
“So when I get back, how are we going to start this courting thing?”
“I thought we’d start with water-treading competitions and work up to other activities.”
“You’re a glutton for punishment if you’re starting with that,” I say. “You already know I’m undefeated.”
“I don’t mind a little punishment every now and then.”
“Good to know,” I say, pulling his hands up. “Arms over your head. Right now.”
He narrows his eyes. “Really?”
“You heard me. Over your head. Now.”
He smiles slowly as he laces his fingers behind his head. I trace his bulging biceps with my fingers.
“No,” I say, pushing his arms back up as they start to fall. “They stay up. You know the drill.”
“Fine,” he says, sighing. “I am your prisoner. Do with me what you like.”

“What’s this about?”
Elle texted me about thirty minutes ago and told me to meet everyone on the patio. Butch and I reluctantly left our bed. Mason, Millie, and Raine were already there when we arrived.
“Not sure,” Mason says, looking over at me. “Alex told Raine to grab us and meet him here.”
“You two look a little flushed,” Millie says, pointing at Butch and me. “Almost glowing. Right, Raine?”
Raine smiles and lays her head on Millie’s shoulder. “Definitely glowing.”
Butch pulls me down onto his lap. “I would like to apologize in advance for those two. I’m afraid they come with the Butch package.”
“I think it makes the Butch package even more desirable,” I say, nibbling on his ear.
“Oh God, Kit, please stop,” Mason says, holding up his hand.
Butch flips him off and then turns to the gate as it opens. “What the fuck?”
“Nice greeting, Butch.” I sit up straight as I see Alex’s teammate, Seb Miller, walk in.
“Oh my God! What are you doing here?” Raine jumps up and hugs the woman Seb has his arm around. I’m assuming it’s his wife.
Alex, Nash, Elle, and Sam follow them onto the patio—all smiling like they just won the lottery.
