“Okay,” she says, smiling, “but if you die and I don’t have your password, who’s going to clear all the bad stuff before your mom can see it?”
I stick my tongue out at her before slamming the door. It takes me about two seconds to get naked and in the oversized, clawfoot tub. I sink down into it as the hot, sudsy water starts rising around me. I close my eyes and try to clear my mind, but I can’t stop thinking about Seb.
I grab my phone off the floor and flip through my contacts until I get to his number. I stare at it for a full three minutes before I start typing.
It’s Sophie. This is my number if you still want it.
As I lay my head back on a rolled-up towel and start to get comfortable, I hear the phone ping. I grab it so fast that I almost dump it in the tub.
Oh, I definitely still want it.
