He’s fucking crazy!

Lukyan jumped to his feet and used the couch as an anchor as he fired his P-90, releasing a fuck ton of bullets. “Oh, yeah! How do you like that, bitches?!”

A big boot landed next to me, and I knew instantly it was not a friend. It was an enemy. Before he took another step, I pulled out my knife and slammed it into his foot.

He screamed and hunched over at the waist, trying to yank it out quickly. Pulling another blade from my waist, I rammed it into his cheek. Blood spurted out and splattered all over my face.

I leapt over his body, keeping low to the floor as I scurried across the ground. Another enemy stepped into my path, trying to kick me in the face and knock me down. I brought my arm up and blocked him. I pulled a gun from my waist, placed it under his chin and fired.

His head snapped back, the bullet going straight through his skull and into the roof.

Spinning on my knees I fired again, blowing a whole in a man’s head just as he reached Vin.

Vin growled, kicking the lifeless body in the ribs. His eyes snapped to me. “I had that!” he yelled as he flung a knife into a man’s chest halfway across the room.

I stood, glaring. “I think what you meant to say was, ‘thank you’testa di cazzo.” Dickhead.

Pivoting to the left, Vin dodged an attack from behind, light as a feather on his feet. He took aim and fired, shooting the man in the back. “I’ve got no reason to thank you. I had it covered,stronzo.”Asshole.

Annoyance flared through me. “You little-”

“Basta voi due!”Enough you two!Father barked, snapping a man’s neck with a sharp twist and letting him fall to the ground. “I swear it’s like you guys are teenagers again.”

“He started it,” Vin mumbled, wiping blood from his brow.

“Fuck off, I did.”

My spidey senses tingled, the hair on the back of my neck standing up and I spun, bringing my forearms up in an X formation to block a knife before it could pierce my skin. I rammed my knee into the man’s ribs and with a little manoeuvring, gripped his wrist, ducked under his arm and flung him onto his back, all in one fluid motion.

Plucking the knife from his hands, I held it under his chin and straddled his chest.

“Tut, tut, tut, too slow,” I laughed, enjoying the way the fucker trembled beneath me.

Anger flashed on his face and he bucked, kicking his legs out. “Get the fuck off me, you Italian scum!”

“Hey Vin!” I yelled, digging the knife in a little deeper, making him hiss. “We need another prisoner or are we set?”

At my cleverly veiled threat the man ceased his struggles, freezing instantly.

Vin looked around. “I think we got enough.”

I smiled. “Wonderful.” I rammed my knife under his chin right to the hilt, glimpsing the blade inside his open month, drenched in blood. I got to my feet and wiped my bloody hands on my clothes.

Groans echoed all around me as the sounds of gunshots died down and I blinked, coming out of my bloodlust haze.

In an attempt to save himself, a grubby man with blood, sweat and tears dripping down his face gripped one of the hysterical women by her hair, holding a gun to her temple. “Everyone freeze. No-nobody move or I’ll blow her head off!”

Vin and I shared a confused look with one another.

Uhh, are we supposed to give a fuck?

Dimitri stepped over numerous dead bodies as he made his way over, his Armani suit torn in several places and drenched head to toe in blood.

“St-stop! I’ll do it! I’ll fucking kill her!” the man screamed, his hand trembling.

“Why does he think we care?” Vin whispered to me, and I shrugged.

I had no fucking idea. She wasn’t one of our girls. At least, I didn’t think she was. Truth was we had so many girls in our strip clubs they all started to look the same to me.
