We managed to tear away from one another long enough to make the call. When our order arrived, we kissed and fucked and made love and played with our food for what felt like hours, creating a deeper connection than I could’ve thought possible.
Riva and I took great advantage of all the hotel had to offer, as long as we could enjoy it from our room. We ordered all the room service we could possibly eat and play with, had an in-room massage, and watched pay-per-view porn while we went for another round of incredible sex.
I wasn’t sure what time it was when I woke, but I hoped checkout wasn’t anytime soon. I wanted to relish the feel of this beautiful woman cocooning me in the bed. It was so much nicer than anything I’d ever slept in. Or fucked in.
Riva was still sound asleep. She looked like Sleeping Beauty, whereas I was sure I was more like a street urchin, given my hair was unruly when I first woke up in the morning.
When there was a knock at the door, my heart sank. Damn, were they here to kick us out? I looked at the time on my phone. It was barely seven a.m. The knock came again, so I carefully untangled myself from Riva, got out of bed, and shuffled across the room as I pulled the complimentary robe on.
I was glad to see a friendly face when I opened the door. “Aug.”
He was shocked when I jumped into his arms and covered his face in kisses. “Steady on, hotness. I know I’m irresistible, but at least wait until I get you back inside.”
With his supportive hands under my ass, he kicked the door shut and carried me back to the bed, where Riva was waking. She sat up and stretched, not caring that the sheet fell away from her naked breasts as she did so.
“Mmm, this looks like a party.”
Riva eyed Augustus off unabashedly. “It certainly was.”
“Way to make me hard, ladies.” He set me down on the bed and sat in between us.
“How did you know where we were?” Riva asked.
“I didn’t. I received a frantic telephone call from my cousin and your boyfriend…” he pinched Riva’s nose, “… last night when neither of you came home from your shopping trips. Seems he thinks of himself as your personal bodyguard. Then I found a rather interesting article in my daily newspaper and magazine delivery and went on the hunt for you.” Augustus pinned me with a glare. “Do you always sleep with your mobile phone on silent?”
“Yes, actually,” I told him.
His line of sight moved between each of us. “Both of you? Even when you’re clearly in trouble?”
I narrowed my eyes. “What publication, Aug?”
Rising from the bed, he pulled a newspaper tabloid from beneath his jacket. There I was on the front page holding hands with Riva in the restaurant and us running through London. “Let’s have a read, shall we?‘Lord Huntington the Third’s on-again, off-again lover, Sienna Beachley has been spotted engaging in an illicit affair with an unknown red-headed bombshell atJolly’s Gourmet Eatsrestaurant in Westminster yesterday. Upon being approached for a statement, the pair led journalists on a merry chase through the streets of London before seeking shelter inThe Freemarc Hotelon Victoria Street.’”
“What a load of bullshit,” I exclaimed. “We are not on-again, off-again, we were not having an illicit affair, and they did not approach us for a statement. Not that we’d have said anything to them anyhow.”
“So, you ran?”
“Of course, we ran. What were we supposed to do?” Riva asked.
Augustus puffed himself up. “You callme. You callJeremy. You find a safe place, contact one of us, and let us know what’s happening.”
“We cantake care ofourselves,” I shouted.
“Oh, can you, now? So when the paparazzi caught you, what was your first instinct? You ran. Why did you run?”
“Because we didn’t know what to do,” Riva said.
“Exactly.” Augustus threw the paper down.
“There was no way we were going back to my place or Riva’s.” I indicated to her and myself. “We weren’t about to lead the paparazzi straight to where we live. So we took advantage of our situation. We stayed somewhere nice and made the most of the evening.”
“You could have stayed at my place. That’s the whole point, don’t you understand? While you were busy fucking each other, we were beside ourselves with worry. Look at your phones, and you’ll find them filled with missed calls and concerned messages. You’re lucky this tabloid came out, and lucky I own this hotel because I was able to come and fetch you without questions.”
I glared at him. “We’re not lucky this came out. We’re not lucky the paparazzi chased us. Wearelucky neither of us was alone and that we had one another to lean on instead of me being chased by myself. God, get some perspective, Augustus Louis Charles Huntington the Third.”
Augustus was taken aback at my use of his full name. With a shake of his head, he tossed the paper into the trash. “You’re both coming with me. Jeremy will be meeting us at my house.”
“Come on, Riva, let’s have a shower.” I took her hand, and we both went into the bathroom together.
