Was that what they were doing?Kyra thought it might be the first time she’d ever done that and not just had sex with someone.Everything about their encounter was smooth and slow like he was pouring melted pleasure over them where they lay clasped together.

It was amplifying her arousal to hear him say these things, so taboo and yet earnest, as if it was the most natural thing in the world.

“You don’t need any help, Ollie.”She sighed as he nudged her higher, closer to coming.“You’re doing a damn fine job on your own.”

“Okay, then maybe it would be for my benefit too.”He closed his eyes and his motions stuttered.

Until she kissed him and whispered, “Nowyoutellme. How so?”

The thought that they really both might need the same things made her quiver around him. When her pussy hugged him tighter, he groaned. Then the truth fell from his parted lips.“Because I need help getting out of my head so I don’t freak out about…shit I don’t want to think about right now.Van is perfect for that and I know he’d never let anything bad happen to you because of me.”

“Why do you think us being together would make something bad happen to me?”Kyra moaned when he rubbed against a sensitive spot inside her.It certainly felt amazing to her.

“Because it always does to people I love.”Ollie didn’t give her a chance to ask any clarifying questions and to be honest, her capacity for deep thoughts was rapidly evaporating.

He smothered her in a bear hug and crushed his mouth to hers, encouraging her to grind herself on him as they came together over and over.

Ripples of ecstasy expanded from every place they made contact, motivating Kyra to give all of herself to ensuring Ollie felt the same. She hooked her leg around his hip, clasped his head to hers, and fed him every cry of rapture he triggered.

She tightened gradually around him until the pressure, though exquisite, was too much to bear.

“Kyra, I can’t last much longer.”He bit her lower lip then sucked on it as his hips worked, drilling him deep within her.

“You don’t have to, Ollie.”Kyra rested her forehead on his and gasped as she began to fall with him.“I’m with you.”

He shuddered and called her name as he flooded her with his heat and desire. The sensation gave her the final boost she needed, along with his pelvis tapping her clit.

Kyra came around him, milking him dry with the corresponding spasms of her own body.

She couldn’t say how long they flew together, but she was content to lie there and rub up against him as they both savored every last moment of bliss.

And when it was over, the silence they shared was every bit as sacred.

Together, they listened to the patter of the icy precipitation bouncing off the roof of Ollie’s home.A bone-deep sense she was welcome to make it her own changed something within her.She hadn’t had that sense of security since she was a kid, since before she realized that her parents were unusual and not everyone lived their vagabond lifestyle.

What would it be like to have a place that was hers instead of an assigned sleeping spot for the drummer of whatever band she was working for at the moment?Sure, she’d been with Kason for nearly seven years now.Wildly successful ones, where she and Kason and Van and the rest of the guys had become like a surrogate family. But this…this was different.

Because unlike Van, Ollie was claiming her as his own.Or at least she thought he might be.

His lids were heavy when he finally opened them to smile across at her.“That was incredible, Kyra.”

“It was.”She grinned back, finally completely relaxed in his company.“I can’t wait to do it again.I mean, if that’s what you’re thinking too—”

“I’m sure as hell not planning on forgetting it happened.”He looked at her as if she was nuts, but that’s exactly what Van had done, despite the way they’d come together, more intensely though maybe less emotionally binding in their urgency.

“Good.Me either.”She kissed him softly.

“Can we figure out how to make this work for more than a night or two or ten?”Ollie ran one fingertip along her eyebrow, then tucked a curl behind her ear.

“It might take a minute, but I think so.”She needed to believe that was true.Kyra hadn’t wanted anything so badly since Kason’s old manager had announced they’d been nominated for the best new artist Grammy they’d taken home years ago.

There was only one major hurdle they needed to make it over first.

She groaned, “So who’s going to break it to Van?”
