Nora points at Busy, then points toward Busy’s room.

I’m so nervous.

I haven’t been alone with a woman in so long.

I definitely haven’t been alone with a woman with Busy in the house.

I nod at Nora. I gently stand up and scoop Busy into my arms very carefully. Her body is heavy with exhaustion.

She is down for the count.

I take Busy into her room, slide her beneath her comforter, then kiss her forehead.

I close her door behind me and pray that she doesn’t wake up.

In the living room, Nora is waiting for me.

She took her hair out of her ponytail while I was gone, and her dark hair is now cascading down around her shoulders.

She is so incredibly beautiful.

I kneel down on the ground in front of her, my face pausing for just a moment before hers, and then my lips crash into her.

Our kiss is furious and unrelenting.

She wraps her legs around my hips and I simultaneously wrap my arms around hers. Then, in a swift move, I stand up, holding her tightly around me.

We break our kiss.

“Nora,” I tell her. “I want to bring you into my room and fuck all night long.”

She bites her bottom lip. “Judah, I wanted you from the moment I first saw you.”

I kiss her hard.

And even if this is a horrible idea, I lead her into my room anyway.

I need Nora and I need her now.

I lower Nora onto my bed. I’m not gentle with her, but I am not rough either. I am desperate for her. And she is reaching for me.

We each rip our clothes off.

And once my clothes are off, I realize I am standing naked in front of a woman for the first time in years.

“It’s… been a while,” I tell her, not wanting to kill our momentum, but wanting to be honest, too.

Nora lowers her lashes at me. “That’s okay. I don’t care. We can go slower, if you want.”

I shake my head, lowering myself over her. I whisper in her ear, “No, I don’t want to go slow with you. This first time may be… quick, but we have all night.”

Nora grabs a fistful of my hair in her hand. I feel a painful pleasure from it.

“Then fuck me like you mean it,” she tells me.

And she doesn’t have to ask me twice.
