I let out a sigh and took a seat on the sofa. This was going to be a very long night.

SAVANNAH

I stormed my way into the kitchen to whip up a cure for headaches. I put all three men’s names on it because they were the reason. And if they knew what was good for them, they would count themselves lucky I wasn’t doing worse. And within minutes of consuming the drink, I knew I would feel better, more relaxed, and able to handle what was going on in my living room. If I didn’t wrap it up soon, I wasn’t going to be getting any sleep, and my last chance at sex with Liam was going to pass me by.

I hated being cock blocked by Noah and Jacob. Who did they think they were, trying to dictate who I couldn’t or shouldn’t sleep with? It wasn’t any of their business. Never mind Liam had promised an explanation after everyone slept. After agreeing no one needed to know.

Like hell that would happen.

I was tired, sexually frustrated, irritated with all three men, and my body was aching from the lack of release.

I needed my cure to hurry up and brew, and by “cure,” I meant coffee. The stuff was magical and as effective as any herbal remedy I could whip up. I just happened to enjoy the taste a bit more.

While I waited for the fresh pot to brew, an argument filtered into my kitchen. I leaned against the counter and huffed while shaking my head.

Men.

It didn’t take much longer for the argument to escalate to a point it was uncomfortably to a shifter-level brawl, which was unacceptable. So, I quickly headed back into the living room in time to find the men squaring up to each other.

“So help me, if you so much as destroy a speck of dust, I will turn you all into cockroaches and play like a sadistic kid with a magnifying glass and the sun.” My voice echoed and boomed around the room. A small, cold wind filled the space, encircling the men who turned to set their attention on me.

They were silent for several seconds. At first, I figured they took my warning seriously. Then Noah cracked. He burst into a contagious laughter that caught Liam and Jacob as victims within seconds. I narrowed my eyes at the three of them.

“You can’t do that,” Noah said between gasps. “Who do you think you are lying to?”

“Keep laughing and we’ll find out who is lying,” I muttered.

They all laughed harder.

I sighed. At least they weren’t arguing anymore. Still, I continued to glare at them until their laughter ended. When it did, I shook out the tension that was pent-up in my shoulders.

“You all need to sit down and keep your hands to yourself,” I demanded.

Surprisingly, they did so. Noah took my plush chair, sinking into the fabric and making himself comfortable. Liam and Jacob took up the opposite ends of the couch. I frowned realizing I would be forced to sit between the two of them. But I shrugged off the annoyance and headed back into my kitchen to make my coffee.

When I came out, I smirked to myself, finding a way out of sitting between the two men, taking a seat on the floor on the opposite side of my coffee table.

“You don’t have to sit on the floor,” Noah said. “My lap is a better option.”

I glared at him.

“Watch yourself,” Jacob growled.

I switched my glare to him and shook my head to focus on telling the men just enough information to make them leave.

“I suppose since you are all here, and refusing to leave, I might as well catch you up on what happened at Noah’s place,” I said, setting in.

“‘Bout time,” Noah said.

I flicked another glare at him. He smiled, unaffected.

With a sigh, I dug into my story. “Avery’s was clean.”

Jacob sat forward with his eyebrows knitted together. “What do you mean by clean?”

“Like, clean, clean,” I said with a hint of sarcasm. “There was nothing in the way of clues. The whole place was wiped of everything, even the energy.”
