Lucifer nods, whispering to me as he pass me. “Let me know if you ever want to come over and show me those skills you learned there.”

My brows arch.Oh my god.

Ledger moves to my side. “Can I borrow my girlfriend?”

Lucifer nods with a smug smirk on his lips.As if Ledger calling me his girlfriend is going to stop Lucifer.

Something inside of me turns feral when I smell Ledger on Asura. They had sex in the bathroom and the thought of her being on his dick, angers me, in a way.

But it also turns me on.

I stare at Asura across from me. Hazen and Ledger are on each side of her while Inarian and Eames are next to me. I look down at my plate, ignoring the constant talking around me. Lifting my leg, I brush it right against her leg. Her eyes snap to mine and her sweetness fills the air around me.

She gets so turned on so quickly; it’s almost insane.

“So, Asura,” Lucifer says, leaning forward. “When’s the bonding ceremony?”

“Monday,” she answers sweetly. The way he looks at her pisses me off. I can tell it pisses Ledger off as well.

“Are you guys ready?”

I glance at Inarian. I know Hazen is. Their bond is already formed in more ways than one. I’m not sure if Inarian and I will even fit into it.

We could be rejected, or we could reject her from us.

But I nod. I’ve never done it before so I’m not sure what to expect.

Asura’s heeled toe runs up and down my calf. I bite the inside of my cheek to stop the smirk from running across my face. Ledger looks between us. He might know what’s going on, but I don’t think he can tell.

“I am very proud of you, Asura,” Devil says.

Asura stops, smiling at her father. “Thank you.”

“I remember when I had my ceremony.”

“Ten thousand years ago?” Killian fires.

The Devil smirks. “Watch it, kid. I can tell your future and there might be an ass whooping in it.”

We all chuckle.

I doubt the Devil ever lays a finger on his kids. They aren’t bad, but he can just shift into a demon, and that alone would make me behave.

Her father goes on with his stories, and I watch Asura listen to them. She seems to love her family and stops everything to give them attention.

It’s how I will be if I ever have a family. My parents died when I was young, but I’ve had Hazen, and then Inarian, for my orphan life. Hazen stops everything to listen to me even when no one else does. It made me feel happier as a kid.

Asura does that too. There are times that Eames or Andrew have tried to talk over me, but Asura’s eyes always stay on me.

I’m not sure if it’s for me or to piss them off.

Either way, I think it’s hot. I always have a boner afterward.

Her dark eyes move to me, and I look down at my empty plate. The food was amazing. I have to thank her father for the nice suits and the amazing meal. It feels weird to be in a suit, but Asura’s eyes have been checking me out all night, so it makes it worth it.

The night ends without a fuss. Ledger leaves with a kiss against Asura’s lips. He said something about spending time with Khazon. Whatever they have going on.

I move up the stairs after telling the Devilthank youa million times and go back into the room designed specifically for me. My body has craved the sweet feeling of silk.
