“Fine by me,” he grumbles.
We hold our gazes as I stand and move to the front door. “Hey, Jig?”
“Saw.” He tries to correct me, moving to the front door.
“Whatever. Be my hound.”
“No,” he says instantly, opening the door for me.
I look up at his green eyes. “Why not?”
“Because I don’t need that drama in my life.”
I scoff. “I am not drama.”
He cocks a brow. “How many hounds have you kissed or fucked so far?”
I stare at him, feeling anger rise in my chest. “You don’t know me. You can’t judge my capability on that.”
He chuckles. “I don’t need a demon’s whose mind is only on fucking her hounds. Leave.”
I’m silent for a moment before moving. He closes the door on me, and I stand there for a moment. Is that my only objective? Fucking my hounds? No, right. It’s to stop a war from coming. I want to be stronger and better. How dare he? He doesn’t even know me. Jigsaw would be perfect for my group, though. His whole body is a weapon, and he would know how to use it. Hazen is going to be too drunk to remember what he asked. I think he’s just as powerful, if not more, than Jigsaw. I shake my head and walk back to my dorm.
