She smiles back at me with tears still in her eyes. “I’m just hormonal after starting the pill, but God, it felt good to get that all off my chest because I feel like I have tied up all my loose ends here. I can walk away now and not wonder if it was me or if I could have done things differently. It’s done and I’m happy about it. Now it’s time for the next chapter, for our new beginning.”

She pushes me down on the settee and hitches up her long gown so she can straddle me.

“I can’t wait for our next chapter, Jamie. You complete my life. I never thought life could be this good, and then I met you.”

Her eyes are filled with passion and longing. “You’re all I want in my stockings this year, Owen, and every year after. I love you so much. Merry Christmas,” she whispers against my ear as she kisses down my neck and pulls my tie off. She unbuttons my shirt, kissing all the way down my chest, stopping only to kiss my tattoos. I lift my shirt off and throw it to one side and shiver from the sensation of my girl nestled on my lap and in my arms.

We kiss for a long time, lazily, hungrily and then finally more demandingly. I unzip her gown from the back and tug it up over her head, and when her body is finally free for me to see, I groan with longing for her. She sits still astride me in just a pair of French knickers. I kiss down her chest to her little bee stings, my wonderful mouthfuls of pure pleasure. Her exhale tells me this is how she likes it.

Jamie kisses me back, all down my own chest and lower still. As she unbuckles my belt, I lift my hips while she undresses me, briefs and pants both at once. “I want to suck you until you blow… Would that be okay, Owen?” I nod to her, not trusting my voice at this moment.

Jamie slips down between my legs, kissing every part of me until she reaches my dick. She playfully licks me, in featherlight strokes using the top and underside of her little pink tongue to caress me into a crazed state of need. “Suck me, beautiful, take me all in.” I grip my dick still for her, and with a little smile, she places a small kiss on the tip before swirling her tongue around the tip and finally taking me all the way in her mouth, as far as she can. The little noises she makes drive me wild, and it doesn’t take long for me to reach my climax. I haven’t even touched her yet, but she just has the power to spell bind me and captivate me.

“I’m going to blow, babe. I’m so close.” She bobs her head up and down faster until I cannot stand the pleasure any longer and release. Jamie’s face is full of triumph as my cum fills her mouth and throat. I can’t seem to stop.

“Baby, that was amazing… but I think it’s my turn now!” I tell her as I get her to stand so I can help her out of her wet French knickers.

I lift her onto my face and use my hands to show her how to move so her pussy grazes my nose and tongue. She whimpers as she rubs herself against my hot, greedy mouth, slowly edging towards fulfilment. My nose is jammed right in against her clit and my tongue darts inside her and then back out to explore her folds. She doesn’t need to tell me when she starts to cum. I sense it; I feel it. She becomes slippery and wet and her thighs tense as her movements become more erratic. I ravenously lick up all her honey as she quivers and shudders her way to satisfaction.

Afterwards, I make love to her, slowly and sweetly, and whisper all the love words I know. She is the light in my life, the love of my life and the greatest thing to ever happen to me. I know I am a lucky man.

As the bells ring out to indicate it's Christmas Day, we make our way back for a family Christmas at Billie and Jonty’s house. Life doesn’t get any better than this.

~ Billie ~

Christmas has been amazing, probably the best I have ever known, and I know that it comes down to having a better life balance. A little bit of what you fancy will always make you feel happier and more content. The children seem happier and my Jonty appears to have his spark back.

My little sister is finally settled in her life, too, and it is heart-warming to see her in love with a decent man. Owen is a cracking fella, and I know from the way he treats Jamie and from the way he looks at her that he loves her a whole lot and will take care of her when they move out to the States together. I am going to miss her more than I can express but I am also internally cheering her on from the side lines: ‘Go on Jamie, this is your time now'. I am both proud and happy for her. I don’t think we will be waiting long to hear their wedding bells.

Yesterday, Jonty and I sat down and spoke about our experimental Christmas present to one another and our thoughts. I initiated this experiment, but I am happy that he feels able to approach me so we could do the post-mortem together. For me, the greatest outcome from our experiment is that our home life, our vanilla sex life and our regular, mundane marriage all seems so much better now.

“Bilbo, I’ve got to be honest, I feel twenty years younger. I feel happier, content and satisfied. I know this has been non-stop intense but we had to go all out for the sake of the time span we set. I think this past month has been spectacular. I don’t want to lose that side of our relationship again. What are your thoughts?” He waits with bated breath for my reply.

“I love you; I fancy you, and I have enjoyed every moment we have shared, Jonty. I want to keep that side of our relationship, too, albeit at a less intense pace. Just to keep the passion going and to keep our more varied preferences sated. I only want that with you. You’re the man who owns my heart and fulfils my every fantasy.”

We have settled on partaking in a bit of spice once a month, and I feel this is a better compromise. We can always reassess and change if this doesn't suit us. We are in complete synchronicity now and the future has never seemed brighter.

Tonight is New Year’s Eve and we have a massive night planned. It's Open Mic Night at Tables & Fables and it’s our first ticketed event. I managed to secure a reading from a really popular author, and she has a massive readership who have jumped on the opportunity to see their favourite author recite a passage from her newest book.

I am fixing the booth outside, I have a man on security for the first time ever; he’s in charge of the guest list. Around his booth is a banner announcing our special guest. “LIVE: Best Selling Author: Melody Tyden''. It's going to be a spectacular night.

On top of it being New Year, tonight is also a joint party for Jamie and Owen leaving and Tim and Lol getting engaged. It's all-hands-on-deck; even Jonty is having to work tonight which is hilarious. I don’t think my husband has ever done a menial job. The thought of Jonty wearing an apron trying to make a latte macchiato is just too sweet.

Both Lol and Tim are performing tonight, too. I am delighted that reading for Lol last week boosted her confidence and readership enough that she feels worthy of taking the stage now. I always knew she had talent, and now this new year will see every dream fall into place for her. As for Tim, who knew he was so adorable? He is going to be playing his guitar and singing a Beatles song. He says it’s for Lol and I have the distinct impression that everything he does will be for Lol now. He is completely devoted to her and a better matched couple, I would struggle to find.

We have a mixed bag of regular and new customers booked in tonight. One of the locals who has missed out on tickets stops when she sees the sign. “Is Melody Tyden really going to read live here tonight?” And when I tell her yes, she groans in frustration at missing out on such a treat. “This is my card. If she comes back to read again, call me, please. I love her work.”

The children will be with us tonight. Oscar, the grouch, has set up his new PlayStation in Jamie’s apartment and plans to play FIFA all night. My little Glow-worm, Chloe, has a miniature matching apron and will be helping us with the cakes and biscuits. She is more excited about working in the café than she has ever been about Christmas.

I have reserved a booth for Melody, who arrives before the allotted time with her husband and daughter and a small group of friends. I am starstruck when I finally meet her, and I tell her all about Lol and how talented I think she is. “She’ll be reading a passage from her new book just before you, please check her out. She is so amazing and she just doesn’t realise it yet.”

Melody is modest and tells me she definitely will do. “It's usually the quiet ones who are brilliant. I’m looking forward to listening to her work.”

The place is jam-packed and I know now that I will be asking Dana to join me as my partner here. Tables & Fables has taken on a life of its own and has become bigger than I had ever dreamed about. Who would have thought a little book café could become the epicentre of creative types?

Jamie and Owen have a date first but will be coming here, too; it is partly their leaving party after all. Jamie has graciously let us use her apartment for tonight in case the children became tired or anti-social in Oscar’s case. She has moved most of her stuff to storage now anyway and stays at Owen’s most nights.

I turn on the mic and announce that there is a full itinerary for tonight but if anyone else wants to perform they should come and speak to me straight away. The first performer takes the stage and the crowd seems to swell with excitement. After an hour or so, Lol takes to the stage and we all cheer for her. Her words sound so much better coming from her mouth; she can deliver them in the way she intended. I watch my friend with pride. She will find success this year; I can feel it. This feeling is compounded when I look at Melody Tyden and notice the impressed look on her face as she listens closely to Lol’s reading.
