Oh my, I have to clench my legs together. “I just need the bathroom,” I shout to Dana as I take a couple of minutes to pull myself together. Our final ‘gift’ to one another is a threesome. At first, I thought I wanted a second man but the thought of another woman once again intruded into my thoughts. That first encounter with Jonty watching me as I was intimate with another woman and then the both of us pleasuring her together as one was so hot. That is what I am missing. I don’t need another man. Not yet anyway. What I want is something different, and I have missed the female form, with its soft curves and womanly attributes.

The rest of the day will drag now that I cannot wait to be home with my husband.

My sweet and sexy flower has been so vulnerable this weekend, but that’s okay. I am more than happy to reassure her and be here for her so she knows she can depend on me. She gave herself to me, and although I couldn’t give her my virginity, she has completely stolen my heart. I love her. I am head over heels in love with her and everything she is. I want to marry her; I want her to be my wife and the mother of my children. She is my future, my destiny. My everything.

Once I managed to calm her, she slept in my arms, and it has become one of my favourite things. It takes a lot to trust someone enough to fall asleep next to them, and that tells me that Lauren doesn’t trust herself as much as she trusts me. I am determined that eventually she will see herself through my eyes. I want her to know how absolutely incredible she is.

We have sex a few times over the weekend, and each time just gets better and better. I know she is self-conscious, and I don’t know how to demonstrate to her that I love every part of her body, even the parts she doesn’t like. I mean everything I say to her; I love her fuller figure, I love her round bum, and I love her massive boobs, too. I love every aspect of her fuller, curvy body, and I want her to love it, too.

I go back to work on Monday, but the boss is back, too, and so I can’t be taking two hour lunches to meet up with my love. I am so distracted by my own love life, I don’t notice anything different between Jamie and Mr. Matthews until Wednesday.

I look up from my desk and see Mr. Matthews wink at Jamie, and when my head snaps around to her, she is sharing a look with him, while a blush creeps up over her face, then she looks down and bites her lip. Something has definitely happened there. I took my eye off the ball for one minute and my best pal at work is hooking up with the boss.

Once Mr. Matthews returns to his office, I whisper to Jamie, “Did you two fuck?”

“TIM! Shhhhh… Geez, have you ever heard of being discreet?” She has got to be kidding me, they were practically eye fucking each other across the office. “We’re seeing each other, yes, but we’re trying to keep it quiet in the office. The last thing I want is people gossiping about us. I really, really like him, Tim.”

Through my massive grin, I whisper, “My little sis is all grown up. You look so happy, Jay. You both do.” It looks like the song is right. Love is all around. “I’m taking Lauren to meet my sister tonight; I’m nervous and excited. I just hope they all get along. I think she might be ‘The One’, Jay. I’m in love with her.”

She hugs me and squeals. “Owen and I are going out to dinner tomorrow. We’re going to the OXO. Promise to tell me all about it?” She holds out her little finger to me which I link and shake while I roll my eyes at her. “I can't wait to meet her, Tim.”

We both look up as Mr. Matthews leaves the office. “Are you two going to get any work done today, eh?” he shouts back to us from over his shoulder. When the door closes behind him, we both burst out into laughter.

“The office party is on Friday, are you still going?” Jamie asks once we recover. I had thought about missing it but now I’m intrigued to see how these guys plan to keep this quiet once the liquor starts to flow. Office romances are usually made or finished at these parties. I’m hoping this is just the beginning for Jamie. I don’t think I’ve ever seen her as happy as she is right now.

“Yeah, maybe I will bring Lauren with me so you can meet her.”

Mr. Matthews doesn’t return to the office. I notice that Jamie is fretting. “Didn’t he have a meeting pencilled in?” I ask, trying to reassure her, but she shakes her head in reply.

Jamie’s shoulders visibly relax when we get to the main lobby and he is waiting for her there. “Good night, Tim, Jamie. I will see you both bright and early tomorrow.”

“Tim knows,” Jamie admits. “I told him.”

Mr. Matthews looks shocked at first and then grins. “Good. No more pretending in our little office then. Good night, Tim. And you - get in that car you’re coming with me!” It’s a side to Owen Matthews I have never seen. Who knew Mr. Serious could be… playful and fun?

As they drive away, I walk to meet Lauren at the tube. I can't wait for my family to officially meet her and for at least someone to see how happy and right we are together too.

I arrive home from work as usual on Wednesday evening. We are taking the children Christmas shopping at Harrods tonight, and then to see Santa. My little Chloe is on the ceiling with excitement, and her enthusiasm warms the cockles of my heart. She reminds me so much of Billie. I sincerely didn’t get a look in where our little girl is concerned, and I am thankful for that.

“Daddy, are we getting a Harrods Teddy Bear for mummy again?” The Harrods Teddy Bear is a well-known Christmas institution: for decades now, they have designed a new bear every Christmas with the year stitched into its foot.

When I met Billie, she had tons of them. At first I ignorantly thought it was childish; who had teddy bears at 22 years old, for Christ’s sake? However, I then found out that they were bought for her by her mother, from the year Billie was born until the year before we met, just after her mother had died. She cherishes those bears because it was something she shared with her mother. The one from the year her mother died was missing and it broke her heart that she didn’t have one. So, I went searching and finally tracked one down. That was the day she agreed to marry me. I turned up at her flat soaking wet with the bloody bear she was missing in the iconic green and gold Harrods bag, and through her tears of grief and gratitude, she thanked me and finally agreed to marry me.

Now, every year we have to get her the new bear. Her mother’s story becomes entwined in ours and every year that I buy her a new bear, it reminds me of the lengths I would go to for my Billie.

Oscar doesn’t take notice of these things, but Chloe does. She helped me buy last year's teddy bear, and now she has her own collection too.

“Yes, I’ll need you to help me again.” Her massive smile tells me how much she loves to be included in this tradition.

“What are you two whispering about? Come on, Glo-worm, you need to get your hat and gloves on.” Billie catches us hatching our plan, but she knows all about our father-daughter task.

“Sorry, Bilbo, my fault, I was just asking our girl all about school.” Chloe giggles as she runs to find her hat and gloves, giving the game away.

“Remember, Jonty, Oscar wants to see the virtual reality stuff, too. If you could take him when I take Chloe to pick out her dress, they shouldn’t become too restless.” Kissing her, I reassure her that I cannot wait to spend a bit of bonding time with my son. “Did you hear back from the agency?” she whispers to me after checking that no little ears are listening.
