“It’s the four elements,” he says, startling me. My hand continues to trace over the circles that I can now see represent the four elements. The largest is the symbol for earth—Marcos’s element. And that’s when I realize why the tattoo seems familiar. I’d gotten a glimpse of a similar one on Kai’s chest last night.
“Kai…” I trail off.
“All four of us have the same tattoo. The only difference is that our own element is the largest. We got them shortly after we moved in together. It’s to remind us that no matter what our parents ask of us or expect of us, that we’ll always have one another.”
I smile, loving the sentiment behind it. Then I realize the tattoos are all moving. “Are they moving? How is that possible?”
“Magic, baby.” Marcos grins. “We go to Cruthanna to get them, so they’re infused with magic. Hunter and I have been there a few times, but this tattoo is the only one that Caiden and Kai have. We all went there together and somehow, that’s the only time that our parents have caught us. And boy, were they pissed.”
“Why?”
“Because we went to the mage realm—they don’t like us to leave Sorlphi, probably afraid that something will happen to their heirs—and because we went for such a frivolous reason. Apparently, getting matching tattoos isn’t a good enough reason to travel between realms. Who would’ve thought?”
“I love it.” I smile as I glance up at him from under my eyelashes. “Maybe you can take me there one day so I can get a tattoo of my own?”
Marcos grins as he nods. “Hell, yes. I’d love to take you there. You should see the magic that they can do. It’s so different from what we can do.”
“Well, well, well. What do we have here?”
Marcos rolls over me so that he’s on top of me, hiding my nakedness as soon as he hears the voice, but within seconds I feel him relax. A glance over his shoulder reveals Caiden standing in the doorway, smirking down at the two of us. I’d been angry with him when he’d left earlier, but I can’t find it in me to be annoyed right now. He’s lucky that Marcos sexed the anger out of me.
“I went to Addy’s room so that I could invite her to our wing since we’re free for the rest of the day, but how surprised was I when she wasn’t there? I guessed correctly, obviously, that she might still be down here. But this is not what I expected to find.”
Caiden moves closer, eyes never leaving the pair of us. Marcos rolls his eyes as they meet mine before looking over his shoulder at his friend.
“Seriously, Caiden? Are you checking out my ass right now? Fucking perv.”
Caiden laughs as he shrugs. “It’s a nice ass. What can I say? But if you want to move, I’ll happily check out Addy instead.”
“Will you? Or will you be looking at his cock?” I raise my eyebrows at him with a grin.
“I can do both.”
Marcos groans as Caiden and I laugh. I push against Marcos until he rolls off of me, not caring if Caiden sees me naked. I know I look good without my clothes, so why should I hide that?
Caiden’s eyes are hungry as they run up and down my body, though his eyes do get wide when they stray to Marcos as we both pull on our clothes. “What the fuck, Marcos?”
Marcos glances up and sighs when he finds Caiden’s eyes locked on his cock. “Seriously, dude? Why?”
“Exactly! Why the hell didn’t you tell me you pierced your dick?”
“Maybe because I didn’t want to show you and I knew you’d want me to.”
Caiden shrugs, accepting the answer as he turns back to me. He licks his lips as I dip down to grab my bra and pull it on. Once Marcos and I are both dressed, Caiden’s eyes finally lift back to mine.
“So what did it feel like?” He wiggles his eyebrows as he glances down at Marcos’s dick again.
“Fucking hell, Caiden.” Marcos throws his hands in the air, but I don’t miss the blush spilling across his cheeks as he turns away from us.
“Phenomenal,” I answer with a grin of my own. “So, what was this about hanging out?”
Caiden grins as he throws an arm around my shoulders. “I knew there was a reason I liked you. C’mon, let me show you the wing where we’re staying.”
“Yeah, I’m definitely going to need a shower before we hang out,” I tell him, pulling at my damp shirt. “Dancing and then sex means lots of sweat.” Thank the goddess for the condom, because that means I don’t have to clean Marcos’s cum from between my legs as well.
“We can stop by your room so you can grab some clothes and then you can use my shower.” His hand slides down my back as he starts to walk, and I know I won’t be able to talk him out of this.
“Fine, but I’m showering by myself.”
