Yes, this is how I imagined a guy like Theo would take me. Who needs soft and gentle when you can have…this?

Theo doesn’t give up, even as I clench down on him in the midst of my third orgasm of the night. He’s like the bloody Energizer Bunny and I freaking love it. My voice is sore from the amount of screaming I’ve done. I wouldn’t be surprised if the whole apartment complex knew that Theo was in here laying claim to my vagina. And what a good bloody job he is doing.

I’m officially fucked. Both literally and metaphorically. Because as his thrusts become rigid and he stills on top of me—my name on his lips like a prayer—I know I’m never going to be able to give this man up.

Come hell or high water, Theo Valentino is mine.

ChapterThirteen

Iwake with a jolt when I hear a scream. Bolting upright, I grab the handgun I tucked under the bed last night before I climbed in beside Holly.

“Ah, fuck, what the fuck was that for?” The voice is muffled.

“Why are you in my apartment, and how the bloody hell did you get in?” Holly screams again.

I run out into the empty space of Holly’s living room, gun aimed.I should take out a kneecap just to teach the son of a bitch a lesson.

“Sorry… T texted saying you needed new locks. Don’t shoot the messenger.” Neo holds up a bag from the hardware store.

I lower the gun to my side, seeing as the only threat here is my dipshit cousin. “Thanks,” I say, reaching for the bag.

“You okay, Holly? You’re looking a little pale?” Neo questions.

Fuck… Glancing over to Holly, I note that her eyes are hyper-focused on the gun in my hand, and her skin has blanched. “Dolcezza, what’s wrong?” She doesn’t answer. However, she does faint. Neo catches her before her body hits the ground. I drop both the bag and the gun, having her out of his arms in less than five seconds. “What the fuck did you do to her?” I yell as I carry her back into the bedroom.

Neo follows. “Not a thing, I swear, T. I just got here, and she kicked me in the balls.”

“Holly, wake up.” I lay her down on the bed and hold her head in my hands. What the fuck do I do?“I swear to God: I will fucking kill you if you touched her, Neo.” I know my anger is misplaced. There is no one else on this earth I’d trust Holly’s safety with, and I know my cousin wouldn’t harm her in any way.

“I’d let you. But I swear she looked fine until you came running out.”

“Fuck, Holly, wake up,” I yell a little louder, and her eyes flutter open.

“What happened?” she says, trying to sit up.

I push her back down. “Don’t move. You fainted. Neo, get the doc here.”

“Neo, stop. I don’t need a doctor. I’m fine,” Holly insists, pushing at my hands.

“You’re not fine; you just passed out.”

“I’m fine. I…” She looks towards the doorway and, noticing the audience, stops her sentence.

“Neo, wait for the doc at the front door.”

“Yeah, okay. Are you sure you’re all right, Holly? I’m really sorry if I did anything to make you pass out,” he says before stepping over the threshold.

“You didn’t. Don’t worry about it.” She smiles shyly at him as he turns the corner. Once he’s gone, Holly covers her face with her hands and her body sags against the headboard. “I’m so sorry. I’m so embarrassed.”

“You don’t need to be sorry or embarrassed. I just need to know what happened. I need to fix this. Does this happen often? You fainting?” Fuck, if she has a habit of fainting, I’m never going to be able to leave her side. What if she’s walking down a flight of stairs and passes out? Shit, what if she’s on the sidewalk and falls?

“No, only when I’m overcome with fear...”

“Neo scared you so much you fainted?” I ask, ready to actually go and put that bullet in his kneecap.

“No, you did,” she whispers. Her words cut deep. So fucking deep.

I scared her?“What? I don’t…? What did I do? I’m sorry—the last thing I want to do is scare you.” I pull her onto my lap, my hands stroking through the long strands of her hair.
