I back away from the door, and she pushes by me, peeling out of her clothes in the process.

"What the fuck happened, Melisande? Did that preppy fuck Matteo do this to you?" I grit out, grabbing her arm and spinning her around in my direction.

"No, he didn't do this to me. I'm fine, Xander. I just need to shower." She rips her arm out of my grasp.

"Fuck that! Tell me what the fuck happened right now or so help me I'm going to find that piece of shit and rip his fucking face off. "

"He didn't do it, Xander! We got mugged, that's all."

I blink a few times and try to process the different words coming out of her mouth, "Mugged. Both of you?"

"Yeah, just looked like some homeless guy. He had a gun. I gave him everything. I don't have my wallet, keys, or my phone. He took my mom's chain." The last bit causes her to break down crying. I know how much that chain meant to her. She never takes it off. It's all she has left of her mother, and there's no way to get another one.

I hate seeing her cry like this. I don't want anyone to hurt her and the fact it happened when she should have been protected...

"Wait a minute? Where's Matteo?"

She scoffs, "You were right again, Xander. The prick left me. After we were mugged, he said the date wasn't worth it, and he left me there laying in the fucking alley like trash."

He. Fucking. Left. Her.

Matteo is a dead man. The decision is so solid I don't even bother thinking about it anymore. I'm going to kill Matteo.

"Why the hell can't I get a fucking break? All I wanted was mom's necklace. It's all I had left Xander."

I help her out of her soiled shirt and pull her close to me, wrapping an arm around her shoulder and pulling her head under my chin.

"Shh, come on, Rabbit. Don't cry. I'm here now. Everything is going to be fine. We can put in a report with the police, and they can be on the lookout for the guy. He's probably going to try and pawn the necklace. We can check out the pawnshops." She looks up at me, and those gorgeous blue eyes shine with unshed tears.

"You think there's a chance we're going to find it?" Her shoulders lift slightly

"Of course. I think there's a great chance we'll find it." I run a hand through her dirty hair.

"Okay, Xander. You always take care of me." She nuzzles into my neck and the erection I had moments ago from Lisa gets harder. I fight to get my thoughts back to safe ground.

Football plays, brains splattered against the ceiling, old wrinkly hands jerking me off.

"What's going on here?

Mel reaches down and pokes my cock with her finger. I let out a gruff breath. She's the only woman that has ever touched me without actually wanting to fuck me. When we were younger, she said she wanted to see what a dick looked like, so I showed her mine. Then she said she wanted to touch it, so I let her. She wasn't expecting me to ejaculate in her palm, but when I was thirteen, there wasn't much I had control over in that department. Since then, she randomly pokes and touches me.

"I was on the phone with Lisa. I can pretty much get that girl to do whatever the hell I want her to do." I shrug, and she shakes her head like she's disappointed. I can't get none from Mel, so I gotta get my rocks off somewhere else.

"I can stay in my room if you want to tell her to come over." She offers and stands up.

"Is that what you want, Mel?

She looks down and threads her dirty fingers together. 'No, I want you, Xander. Can you stay with me?"

"Of course, Rabbit. you know you're my first girl." I say, and she smiles sweetly at me. She walks slowly to her room, and I let the smile I keep specifically reserved for her drop off my face. Someone had the nerve to touch her, and now they're going to wish they never had.

I wait until Mel is tucked in, safe, warm, and in a deep sleep before I steal off into the middle of the night to catch up with the motherfucker who thought they were going to get away with hurting her.

I look at my phone again just to double-check the tracking chip I put in Mel's phone when I bought it for her. Even if it's off, I can still locate it. It's so miniature no one would even know it was there unless they were looking for it. Along with telling me the exact location of the phone, if the perp threw the phone away, it would also give me a backtrace of everywhere it stopped, so I could backtrack and find him that way. Either way, He was going to see my face tonight.

I walk up the stairs to a decrypted, run-down building. It still has tenants, but honestly, the building should be condemned.
