“Yes.”
I smiled, turning to leave. The fact that Christian was so much more involved than I even knew, worked very much in our favor. He wormed himself right into the fucking fox den, and we were watching from the tunnels.
“But before you do,” Antonio’s voice broke through my thoughts. I stopped, turning back around. “I am disappointed about the affair. You could have really fucked things up for us, Hux.”
I nodded. “I realize that.”
“But to know that my little brother has finally grown up, finally found a woman worth fighting for,” he put a hand over his heart, “it makes me happy.”
I was quiet, not knowing what to say to that. I’d lost that woman. I was fighting for her safety, and the rest of the city's safety, not because I thought it would get her back to me, could it?
“Had I known things would turn out this way, I would have insisted Enzo leave her name on that treaty.”
“Thanks, Antonio, I appreciate that.”
“But nothing is final, yet.”
My heart didn’t want to let the hope break through. Not until it was a sure thing.
“What do you mean by that?”
He waved a hand through the air. “Get Vinnie. Let’s see what we can do.”
I smiled again, leaving the office with hope bursting through my heart and chest, making me wonder if it was possible—if Christian’s downfall would mean Olivia’s uprising—right into my arms.

Viola, Tony, and I arrived at Boulevard XXX together in Tony’s Mercedes-AMG. He parked right at the door and opened our car doors for us simultaneously, watching his surroundings while we ducked into the building. We had no security with us today, and he made us promise that we’d be extra careful.
Huxley contacted Tony earlier in the day and requested that he visit the club, bring us with him, and to come alone. At first Tony refused—but luckily, I was in the room when he got the message.
“Tony, as far as I can see, Huxley is going to be a part of our family. You need to start trusting him.”
“Trust him? He’s the most untrustworthy man I can think of!”
“Is that really true? Or is your judgment clouded by Liza?”
“Well, of course not—”
“Just think about it… why would he ask us three to come around, alone? It must have something to do with the family. Can we just see what it's about? Please?”
He sighed, giving in with clenched teeth. “If you really think we should go, fine. I’ll drive us.”
I grew more nervous the closer we came to the building, since the last time I was there, was the first time I fucked Huxley. No—the first time he fucked me. He had all the control, and it was sexy as hell, the memory still sent shivers across my body. This time, it was purely business, but I knew those memories would slap me in the face as soon as I saw him there, and they definitely did.
Huxley was seated in the lounge area of the club. It was early afternoon, so the place should have been pretty quiet, but I looked around and noticed that it was completely deserted. No staff, nothing, just Huxley sitting like a boss in waiting. His elbows on his knees, his hands clasped together. I could see the cut lines of his pecs through the opening in his shirt. I couldn’t help myself from looking… from wanting.
He stood when we walked in.
“Girls.” He nodded at us, then offered his hand to Tony. “Tony.”
I gave Tony a sideways glare and he sighed, grabbing Huxley’s hand with force. “Huxley, you gonna fill us in or what?”
“I will. Please, take a seat.”
On the table in the middle of the sofas were drinks and snacks. He’d clearly planned this meeting well and put his best foot out. When Viola and Tony were sitting down, I looked at Huxley. He winked at me.
