“You look gorgeous,” Evelyn, my mate’s eldest sister, spoke as she entered the room. She was like Clara. Her body could glide across the red carpet effortlessly as she came to the window to join me. The future queen of the Cerulean Moon Kingdom held her head high, watching the tiny people below. “You are going to be fine, I promise,” she spoke smoothly. I took a large breath in.

“I hope so. I would hate to embarrass your family.” Evelyn shook her head, a smile gliding over her white teeth.

“You could never. Have you seen my father? He’s known as the kingdom’s horniest king, my sister’s mated to the former Werewolf playboy, and my virgin brothers get caught at the dog pound. Then you have me, the fiery temper of her father, the beast.” Evelyn turned to me, putting her hand on my shoulder. “You are the most normal one here.”

I laughed, placing my hand on top of hers. “Ten minutes, be at the top of the stairs, alright?” Evelyn winked. My heart flipped in my chest, realizing this was it. I was to be formally introduced as the mate of two princes and Luna to the Crimson Shadow’s pack. Evelyn shut the door with a small click. My ivory, green dress hugged my hips, flowing down my thighs like a glove, showing off every curve. Not the first dress I would have picked, but my mates picked it out themselves. I smoothed it down, trying to catch every wrinkle. The gold threads shined in the light and the suns light set.

My body suddenly felt warm, the heat of the setting sun falling on my skin felt too hot. Backing away, I took a towel from the nearby bathroom, dabbing my face and chest, making sure I didn’t lose any makeup. Laying the towel down, I head to the door. This was it, this was my mates and I’s moment to be introduced to the entire land of Bergarian.

Why did they have to be princes?

I took the long walk down the corridor. Pictures of all of Dax and Dimitri’s family stood tall in oil paintings. Pictures of my mates as babies and sisters, Melody and Evelyn, had already grown. They were the perfect family growing up. I only wished I had that, but now, now, everything was perfect. My Mom and dad would stand on either side of me as I walked down the aisle to greet my mates and enter a whole new world.

I pray to the gods we have children. I hoped I could give them everything I didn’t have. The love and companionship of their fathers, as well as the ability to run free into the wild. My heart thumped in my chest, my pace picking up.

“Baby, it’s alright,” Dax and Dimitri spoke into the mind-link. “We can hear your heart beating from here.” I chuckled slightly, picking up my dress to walk faster. The guards kept their stoic faces, facing forward, not to be disturbed by my musings.

“Just nervous,” I shakily spoke. “There’s many people, beings, supernaturals in there.”

“Just look at us. That’s all you need. We will help you with every step.” I couldn’t help but bite my bottom lip.

“Don’t do that,” Dax spoke. “Or we will come up there and make you stop.” Since marking Dimitri and Dax, our feelings were ten times stronger. Not only could they feel my emotions, but also when I became hurt. It was an overwhelming feeling to also feel two other bodies within my head.

I stood between two double doors. My father and mother came to flank my sides. My arms wrapped around theirs. Dad looked down at me longingly, his eyes watering. It was the strangest thing to see such a large warrior cry, but the small crown on his head only reminded me our blood held the line of royals and the Elven royals were said to be the most compassionate. “Congratulations, sweetheart.” Dad pecked my forehead. Mom squeezed my arm tighter, her pointed ears parting her braided hair. We could pass for sisters now. It would be hard to know who was older in this land. Then again, it didn’t matter.

“You are terribly warm,” mom felt the skin of my arm. I shrugged my shoulders. “I’m really nervous.” Nodding, the large double doors opened. The thick red carpet led straight to my mates, who held a large portion of people at an altar. White, green, and baby pink flowers covered each pew in an arch. There were so many flowers, I hardly saw the supernaturals staring back at me. Sighing in relief, we walked to the beat of harp music playing.

Once I arrived, both parents kissed my cheek, letting my hands go and handing me to my mates.

“It’s been the longest twelve hours without you,” Dimitri whispered. “I don’t know how a person stays away from their mate for full twenty-four hours.” The tradition was that the mates were to be separated the night before, to make you miss one another. Of course, Dimitri and Dax didn’t listen. They stayed in my bed all night making love to me until the servants knocked promptly at 6 a.m. to get me ready.

“I don’t think anyone listens to that rule,” Dax whispered harshly. “I needed that nap today though,” he yawned. I didn’t get one nap, I don’t know why he is so tired.

“Greetings,” a man in a long black rope came to the altar, Sorcerer Reginald. Dimitri and Dax were on either side of me, gripping my hands with theirs, giving small caresses with their thumbs.

“Today is a momentous occasion...” The Sorcerer trailed off into an endless rant about what each ceremony entails. My brow continued to pebble small drops of perspiration, and my nipples tightened. Surely, I wasn’t getting sick. That would be unheard of, right? Elves and Wolves heal quickly, not even having issues with sickness like humans.

My mates noticed my distress, but their aura of concern only lasted a moment as we proceeded with the tradition. Melody released the pack of her authority, and gave both Dimitri and Dax a ceremonial chalice. She is now “passing the cup,” to the next in line of the pack. Melody looked up at Marcus lovingly, realizing she was now once free to do as she wished. Dimitri and Dax held up the cup together. The Crimson Shadow Pack Wolves present showed signs of acknowledgment, howling into the giant room to cause nothing but loud echoes of appreciation.

They both brought the cup down, each one slitting their hand to drip into the cup. Their palms healed quickly, and a small amount of blood sloshed at the bottom.

“Now that all parties have accepted the markings--” The crowd gave small laughs of the obviousness of our marks, “you are accepting, to become the Luna of their pack. Does the still ring true to your heart?” Repeating that I do, I took the chalice to my lips, drinking in the blood of my two Alphas. My mind became clear and an enormous roar of “congratulations” came to my ears. My body swayed, and my mates grabbed my arms quickly. Both chuckled, nodding in the direction of the Crimson Shadow’s Pack.

“With the power invested in me by Hecate herself, I now pronounce these proceedings over.”

The crowd stood, all of them bowing with one hand across their chest. Dax pulled me closer to him, but my hand did not let go of Dimitri’s. He kissed me gently in front of the crowd. Dimitri did the same, my heart speeding up with every passing second.

The harp, flutes, and other instruments that I had tuned out from the very beginning played again. Everyone bowed as we walked by while my mates led me to the large double doors. The pace quickened and Dimitri pulled me to a small corridor.

Dimitri wiggled a nearby doorknob until the door broke free. Shoving me in, his mouth was on me, his hands reaching up my dress. Dax wasn’t far behind, cupping my behind with his large hands. “We need you,” Dimitri said huskily. Two fingers entered my core, pushing into my wet cavern. Dax’s hands wrapped around my breasts.

Moaning into the kiss, Dax slapped my thigh. My mouth opened wider, throwing my head back away from Dimitri. Dax pulled my lip with his. Something cold, and wet hit my inner thigh. I squealed feeling a sudden vibration.

“Shhh,” Dimitri hissed. “It won’t hurt.” Dimitri shoved something inside my cavern and pulled my dress down quickly. Both giving me a quick peck, they go to open the door.

“Wait!” I hissed. “You can’t just stop!” I whined more.

“Don’t worry mate, the fun is just starting.”
