“Like what you see?” Gamble snapped.

Eldon’s smile widened. “I do.”

Gamble’s mouth opened and closed.

Eldon had been right; the soft curls framing Gamble’s face were beautiful and made him stand out even more. Maybe that was why he kept them tied back. Eldon reached out without thought and ran his fingers through Gamble’s hair.

He waited to see if it was too much. Gamble’s breath hitched, and his pulse picked up once more but other than that, there was no slight movement away from Eldon, but his eyes did track him closely.

Eldon was always aware of others and how he affected them.

“Your fangs are down; have you eaten?” Gamble broke the silence with the last thing Eldon expected to come out of his mouth.

Eldon ran his tongue over his fangs as if to check they were, in fact, down. “I had a bag of blood yesterday.”

Gamble didn’t hesitate as he lifted his wrist. “Well since we’re already in here, you might as well eat.”

Was he really offering his blood? Eldon tightened his hold in Gamble’s hair and dragged him closer. “I like to be near the heart.”

Gamble’s eyes widened, but he didn’t pull away. His adam’s apple danced in his throat, his head tilted to the side, and he offered his unblemished neck. Eldon closed his eyes for a second as he thanked whatever gods or goddesses were looking down at him at that moment.

He wrapped an arm around Gamble’s waist; he didn’t need to be so close to feed, but the thought of passing up such an opportunity physically pained him. Gamble was so aloof most nights that Eldon wanted to take the small chance to get closer to him. And maybe there was a part of him that just wanted to sink his fangs into the witch and bring him to ruin.

“Hurry it up already, I’m not a dainty princess,” Gamble grumbled.

But Eldon could hear his heart racing and practically taste the nervous energy rolling off of him in waves.

“Have you ever shared your blood with a vampire before?”

“Fuck no.”

Shit, Eldon was going to be his first, and that made him want to do more than sink his fangs into him. Getting bit by a vampire could be the experience of a lifetime, and Eldon wanted to give that to Gamble.

“Then don’t rush me,” Eldon finally said.

Gamble audibly swallowed.

Eldon scraped his fangs over Gamble’s neck and pressed a feather-light kiss to his pulse point.

“Do you do this all the time?” Gamble asked.

“What?” Eldon countered, enamored by a single beauty mark on his skin.

“All this…kissy stuff.”

The vampire gazed at him and decided to tell the truth. “No.”

Eldon didn’t let Gamble second think anything, however. He pushed his fangs in slowly while pulling Gamble taut against him. His naturally warm body heated Eldon to his soul. A warm mouthful of blood washed over his tongue and his senses alighted. It was better than anything a bag could offer. Gamble’s blood sparked along Eldon’s tastebuds and pulled a groan from deep within. He tightened his arm around Gamble and drank more from him.

Gamble moved a little and Eldon almost growled at him to stay still until he felt the hard length pressed against his inner thigh. It had his own body responding, and Eldon unwounded an arm around Gamble and moved it between them.

“Eldon,” Gamble hissed. His hands went to Eldon’s shoulders, but he didn’t push him away; instead, his blunt nails dug into Eldon’s flesh, sending the best shocks straight to his balls.

Eldon let his eyes close, and he sucked in more of the delicious blood as he stroked Gambles cock.

“This, uh, this isn’t normal,” Gamble whispered.

Eldon pulled his fangs out, and Gamble moaned. “How would you know? I’m your first,” he said against Gamble’s ear.
