When I get to the dorm, Penny already has her hair and makeup done so we only have to pick out something for her to wear. Leo sits on the bed as we hold up each dress to Penny, commenting on what he likes best about it.

Sometimes I feel like Leo gives off gay-best-friend vibes, and it’s one of the many things I love about him. He’s not gay, trust me. But even if he was, I’d totally support him, and love him just as much as I do right now.

“That one,” Leo says as I hold up a silver dress. “It would look good with your blue hair.”

“You think?” she asks, taking the dress from me and checking herself out in the mirror.

“I agree,” I tell her.

“You know what, I do look good.” She nods, then looks at me. “Your mate has good taste.”

“Of course I do, do you see my bombshell of a woman?”

My cheeks turn red, but a smile breaks onto my lips, a warm feeling filling my body at his words.

“Oh, you’re good,” Penny laughs at Leo. “He’s smooth.”

“He is, and I love him.” I look at Leo, and he blows me a kiss with a wink. Rolling my eyes, I pull out my outfit as Penny slips out of the room to go to the bathroom and change.

Leo watches me as I toss the clothes on the bed before I reach for the hem of my shirt, pulling it off to reveal my maroon, lace bra.

“Fuck, Starbright. Do you want me to take you on your friend’s bed? I mean it would be kind of weird, but baby, you’re testing my will power here,” he groans.

I bite the inside of my cheek, holding back my smile as I lock eyes with him and reach for the button on my shorts. I shimmy out of them, the movement making my tits bounce, and he watches with a hungry gaze. My belly heats, and I resist the urge to rub my thighs together.

“Abby,” he growls, his nostrils flaring as he smells how wet I am for him. “It was a joke but if you keep teasing me...”

“Sorry,” I squeak, grabbing my top and slipping it on before putting on the skirt. I look at myself in the mirror, making sure everything fits right. I take the hair clip out and shake out my hair, letting my curls hang loose. Penny walks in and lets out a low whistle.

“Damn, Abby. Your mates are gonna have to keep a close eye on you, because looking like that, the whole party is going to be watching you.”

Leo growls, making Penny and me turn to see him getting off the bed and coming over to us. “That’s it, change.”

“Oh, piss off,” Penny laughs and pushes him towards the door. “Go get dressed.”

“I’ll meet you at the car,” he grumbles before opening the door. He looks me over, biting his lip and groans. “You’re gonna be the death of me, Abigail Morningstar,” he says as he leaves the room. “And, oh what a sweet death it will be.”
