I updated the board to read_____’s got a ___ in her ____.

Dante rubbed his hands together and grinned. “Yeah, baby, we got this.”

My heart raced so hard I struggled to draw a full breath. I was nervous as hell about his reaction, even when I thought it would blow his mind in a good way.

I tapped on the next easiest word, tugged my ear, then ran on the spot.

“Sounds like run. Uh, bun, cu—”

I pointed frantically, and Dante repeatedbunwith an excited clap of his hands.

He read aloud as I wrote it in. “Someone’s got a bun in her… The last word’s gotta beoven. So, someone’s got a bun in her oven.”

Hearingthose words made butterflies swirl in my stomach. Various gasps came from the women in the room, and Mei and Naiomi studied me through narrowed, suspicious eyes. Mei then cut her focus to Dante, who glared at each woman with open accusation.

“Alright, who’s got a bun in the oven?” he demanded.

When everyone remained quiet and attention drifted back to me, I nervously pointed at myself and mashed my lips together.

Dante’s eyebrows hit his hairline. “You? Wait, youhave a bun in your oven? Like…” He waved a hand at my stomach. “You’repregnant?”

“Surprise,” I squeaked.

His eyes grew wide, and he looked as if he was about to choke on his own tongue.

“Really?”

I nodded, and heat rose as the mood began to shift from excited to awkward.

“Reallyreally?” he asked again, this time with hope and excitement in his voice.

I let out a laugh. “Really!”

“Holy fuck!” he shouted.

Dante literally jumped over the coffee table in his haste to reach me. He swooped me into his arms. My legs automatically wrapped around his waist as he effortlessly swept me off my feet.

Applause, whistling and deafening cheers rang out as Dante spun us in circles. I clung to him, then held the back of his head when he buried his face in my neck and murmured incoherently.

“I take this as a good sign? You’re happy?” I asked in a shaky voice.

His head snapped up. “Are youserious?Babe, I’m so fucking happy I’m literally lost for words. This. Us. It’s…” He blew out a breath, and pure love shone in his eyes for the entire room to see. “I wanna take you into the next room and fuck you senseless.”

I threw my head back and laughed, whooping when he bent forward, sending me backward. With my head hanging and my hair pooling on the floor, Dante supported me in his strong arms and peppered kisses across my chest.

“Kiss her properly already!” one of the guys yelled. “Practice for when you get hitched in two months.”

Dante righted us and set me back on my feet. One hand found my waist while the other wove through my hair. He smirked and held my eyes while declaring, “Forewarning, babe. This ain’t gonna be a church kiss.”

My heart pounded in anticipation. Using my hair as leverage, he angled my chin higher and ran the tip of his nose along my jaw before his lips found mine. Dante claimed my mouth with hunger and desire, and I claimed his right back.

I knew from the moment we met that this man was special, and him shamelessly worshiping me for all to see was the biggest compliment he could ever give me.

One hand followed the curve of my booty and tucked between my legs, demanding me closer.

“Christ, you can stop now. We don’t need a demo on how youmadeyour baby,” Chen boomed.

Dante snapped his head up. “We made a baby?”
