Stripping off the clothes I had put on after the shower, I slip into the dress Theon gave me. The top part covers my chest completely except the V-shaped mesh panel down the middle. It showcases my breasts beautifully, while being modest but sexy at the same time. But that’s not really the star of the show. The fabric stops right below my chest then picks back up right above my belly button. It isn’t exactly two pieces since it is connected in the back, but it feels like it. The bottom is scrunched and crisscrossed over my hips, hitting about mid-thigh.

Starting at my breasts, I run my hands down my body, my fingers hitting the bare skin of my stomach before sliding down my hips. My thumb hooks on something that I realize is a pocket. Hell yeah. That’s awesome. Even though I don’t have anything to put in there, dresses with pockets are the most functional. Maybe I’ll be able to snatch someone's phone tonight and hide it in there.

This dress hugs my curves perfectly.

Holding up a compact with a mirror, I run my fingers through my hair to make sure it looks nice. Luckily, my hair is naturally straight and usually frizz-free, so I don’t have to do much to it. They’d never trust me with a blow dryer and straightener. Too many cords and way too easy to burn or hit someone with.

I’m still messing with my hair when I hear the door open and someone walks in. Giving it one more quick tousle of my fingers, I close the compact and walk out of the bathroom.

Ace draws in a quick breath when he takes me in. I don’t know if he notices, but he’s eye-fucking me so hard right now. His green eyes roam over my body at snail's pace before landing on mine. The way he looks at me has my stomach fluttering. For once, anger isn’t the main feature in his gorgeous eyes.

If I’m being honest, he looks like a dream right now. His blond curls are styled perfectly, his muscles are threatening to burst the buttons on his white dress shirt, and his dark jeans hug his thighs perfectly.

“Ready?” he finally says.

I nod. “Ready.”

Ace grabs my arm, pulling me to his side before putting his hand on my waist, leading me out to the garage where Theon and Blais wait for us by the SUV. I love the feel of his arm around me, but the feeling quickly fades, causing my chest to ache when he lets me go, pushing me toward Blais.

“Fuck, darling. I think I came in my pants just by looking at you,” Blais groans as he opens the back door for me. I honestly can’t tell if he’s being serious or not, but I’ll take the compliment.

I wink at him, biting my lip as I take in his attire. “Save that for later, baby.”

Blais spins me, pulling me against him so my ass can feel exactly how much he likes that idea. Moving my hair to one shoulder, he whispers softly into my ear, “I’m going to fuck that tight pussy so hard while I cut your pretty little stomach right here.” His rough hand slides across my bare skin where the hole of the dress is, sending a rush of heat right to my core. I clench my thighs and grind my ass back against his hard cock, pulling a deep moan out of him.

“We don’t have time for your foreplay. Get her in the car, Blais,” Ace, the party pooper, demands from the passenger seat. I didn’t even notice that he and Theon got in the car.

Blais chuckles. “Maybe we can sneak off before Novak arrives, darling. That way when you’re seducing the douchebag, all you can feel is the way my cock was rammed so far up in your tight pussy.” He moves, and I don’t get a chance to respond to that before a blindfold covers my eyes and I’m pushed into the backseat.

Blais slides in behind me, pulling me on top of him, pinning my arms behind my back so I can’t reach for the blindfold. I try to wiggle out of his grip, but he just holds me tighter and laughs. “Can’t get away from me now, darling. You’re mine.”

My stomach flips at his words, and I weirdly relax in his arms like this is where I belong. “Ace did a good job picking out this dress, didn’t he?” Blais whispers in my ear.

Ace picked this out? As in the asshole Ace Lennox? I’m honestly shocked that he would choose something so stunning.

The drive to Trinity is pretty terrible with Theon driving, but Blais holds me tightly on his lap so I don’t fall. When we arrive, he lets me go, setting me on the seat beside him and removes the blindfold, before opening the door to hop out.

Sliding to get out of the car, Ace appears in the doorway, stopping me. He tosses my heels at me, which I guess were up front with him, and stares me down while I put them on. I guess, he doesn’t trust that I won’t stab one of them with a heel.

Once the shoes are on, Ace moves out of the way, letting me slide out. He pins me against the SUV with his arms, giving me a look like he’s ready for murder. The wind is momentarily knocked out of me by how hard he slammed my body into the vehicle. “Stay with us until Novak gets here. You’re going to seduce him. Promise to jerk him off, fuck him, whatever you have to do to get him into the back room. Understood?”

Blais growls from behind Ace, but I can’t see him. He’s already claimed me as his so I’m sure he doesn’t like the idea of Novak touching me.

I look up into Ace’s emerald eyes and nod in agreement with the plan. He drops his hands, allowing me to move and to get my breathing back under control. Fixing my dress, I follow behind Ace through the back door of the club with Theon and Blais behind me.

Ross Novak, here we come.

The intensity of the bass breaks through my ear drums the moment I cross the threshold into the club. Excitement sparks in my stomach knowing that I’m outside of the gloomy atmosphere of the house they have me locked away in. However, there’s something different about the music that’s playing tonight. The underlying tones of melancholy that Blais incorporates into his are missing. It’s lacking that passionate spark, full of raw emotions.

Clearly, I paid way too much attention to his music the other times I was here.

The guys flank both sides of me with Ace leading the pack as we work our way through the throngs of people. Everything about the club feels timeless, like it’s on a never-ending loop that repeats itself each day. The other times I have been here, the same scene unfolded before me. People desperately cling to the alternate reality of life. One where they can be carefree and unimaginatively themselves without the pressures of society. They get lost under the fog, the lights, and the music without the worries of any dangers that lurk in the shadows or the monsters hiding in plain sight.

No one here realizes there are demons that creep along the walls of this club, waiting to strike their next victim. Not even I was able to escape them.

Those same demons are leading me to my demise as we speak. Following Ace up the stairs, I get a better view of the club. Although Ross Novak’s disgustingly charming face is nowhere to be seen, I’m sure that cocky asshole is somewhere around here or maybe he’s waiting to make his grand entrance. The guys didn’t tell me exactly how they’re getting him here, but if he isn’t already in the club, he’ll definitely let the whole place know when he arrives.

“Is he here?” I look over to Theon, knowing he has his eyes locked on every corner, observing every movement.
