“I kind of do. I mean, if she’s not going to move, and I
 
 do know that for sure, and I’m not going to move, and I also
 
 am ninety-nine-point-nine percent sure about that, then how
 
 are we ever going to make it work? I’ve been in relationships
 
 before where I knew it wouldn’t work and I still wasted so
 
 much time and effort on trying and in the end, I was right. It
 
 didn’t work.”
 
 “That- that doesn’t mean that you didn’t learn anything
 
 along the way. Or that what you felt wasn’t legitimate,”
 
 Danica sputtered.
 
 “I’m not saying I didn’t or that it wasn’t.”
 
 “Then I’m really not sure what you’re talking about. If
 
 you stand here any longer discussing this nonsense, then
 
 you’re going to miss your flight. You need to get on it and go
 
 and see Dallas. Dallas is different. Dallas is always going to be
 
 different. If you want to make it work, then you will. I
 
 wouldn’t be so sure about those never’s if I was you.”
 
 Quinn stared at her sister, imploring her to try and feel
 
 what it was that she felt. She wanted Danica to understand.
 
 She needed her to understand.
 
 “You’re getting that look where you aren’t going to
 
 change your mind or listen to me. I think if you’re having all
 
 these worries, then you need to get on that flight and go talk to
 
 Dallas. You need to tell her what you’re feeling and you need
 
 to talk it out. But if you don’t go now, you’re going to miss
 
 your flight.”
 
 “Then I’m going to miss it,” Quinn mumbled.
 
 “I’m sorry, what? I thought you just said you’re going
 
 to miss it.”
 
 “I did.” Quinn took her suitcase and started to wheel it
