 Taylor
 
 Taylor genuinely cared about her friends, but she couldn’t deny that by
 
 the time she got Adriana and Joseph back home, she was feeling nearly
 
 hysterical about picking Chloe up. She didn’t quite understand what the
 
 urgency was, other than that Chloe was her daughter and she loved her
 
 more than anything in the world. Still. She knew that she was safe with
 
 Christina. Whatever their differences, even if Christina didn’t have much
 
 childcare experience, she seemed capable and Chloe did seem to like her.
 
 Chloe didn’t just fall asleep against a complete stranger unless she felt safe.
 
 Maybe Christina had bonded with Chloe during the day and things were
 
 different.
 
 Taylor wasn’t sure. She just knew that she was shocked to find her
 
 daughter asleep like that earlier in the afternoon. It was late. Maybe that led
 
 to her sense of urgency. She’d been home late before though, but never with
 
 a sitter. Only when her parents were watching Chloe. Maybe that was it.
 
 Adriana was going to be fine. Her neck was just sore, and after getting
 
 checked out, she’d been free to go home. By the time Taylor dropped them
 
 off, Juliana was already home. She’d been pretty frantic too. She hadn’t got
 
 out of her meetings until after Adriana was already on her way home. Their
 
 reunion was tearful and warm, and it made Taylor’s chest ache again to see
