 as she leaned forward. She turned her chair, and since Cassia’s
 
 hand was still wrapped around hers, Adalynn pulled, and
 
 Cassia went.
 
 They stood and half fell together. It wasn’t graceful or
 
 clumsy, but a combination of both. Adalynn buried her hand in
 
 Cassia’s hair so she could guide her closer and Cassia wound
 
 around Adalynn’s body, twining their legs together, their hips,
 
 their chests, and their arms, until there was no space between
 
 them, and then she let Adalynn claim her mouth with a passion
 
 that was all heat, desperation, and potent crackling electricity.

 There were things that Adalynn was unable to stop, things
 
 she knew would make her control snap. Like what she and
 
 Cassia were doing now. Her body was wrapped around
 
 Cassia’s, one hand already dipping to the edge of her shirt and
 
 pushing it up, stroking her fingers along smooth, heated skin.
 
 Her fingertips buzzed with electricity just from touching
 
 Cassia and Adalynn knew how dangerous that was. She should
 
 stop. She should keep talking, figure things out, make sure
 
 nothing went too far before they were more than just, well,
 
 were they even friends? They hadn’t talked about a
