She grins back and shakes her head, leaving my room while muttering to herself. I must be crazy because even just the thought of leopard print sends me into an anxious state, but the thought of coating it in his blood is just too enticing to ignore.
Incognitus
Tonight is animal fur. It’s been one year since our lives really changed. It’s been a hell of a year and I would love to have it end on a high note tonight. I want to show the guys that Raiden is absolutely insane and that I am the best choice in leading us. I will take them back on the road, have them record another album, and live the life of luxury I know we’ve come to love.
Raiden has lost his mind and soul to a whore and if he wants to spend the rest of eternity with her, then I can make that happen. I will take over this house here in Dominica and we will celebrate my birthday every year with a week-long celebration, ending with a black mass and sacrifice. I want that so bad, I am consumed with it, and now I am feeling more anxious than ever. If Eugene shows up here I will never have it and we will all be dead.
I carried these guys on my back, always the first to step in and defuse situations, and always tried to be the level-headed one. But it was never enough and still, I’m the one that’s left to the side, forgotten about and mistreated.
A knock at the door starts my heart racing and I look around to see if I left anything on to attract people. The sun is going down and soon I’ll be in the pitch black but I don’t risk the lights. I walk to the door and press my ear to the thick oak wood. I don’t hear anything and I can feel my mouth drying out with fear.
“It’s Eddy, Sir,” I hear the old man on the other side, “I’m here to check on you.”
I open the door partially and the old fucker pushes his way in, shutting it closed at his back. His milky eyes are a little too wide and his breathing is too fast.
“What is it?” My words come out garbled with fear.
“There have been some strange things happening,” he begins and I snort, “strange for even here,” he clarifies. “We are very secluded on this side of the island but I have seen things that shouldn’t be there.”
“Like what?” I wave his old ass on impatiently.
“A car has been sitting down the street since this morning and when Albert went to clear the garden maze, he saw the guest house light on. He’s afraid of spirits as you know and he wouldn’t go closer to investigate.”
Albert has been the estate’s gardener since before Raiden bought the place and he is convinced the old owners still haunt it. Especially the land beyond the maze, which has a guest house.
“We need to see who’s there.” I tell him but I think I already know the answer. “Eddy,” I lower my voice, “we need to make sure we capture them.”
“Do I tell Raiden?”
I open my mouth to say no, but why not? Raiden knows the Elders are after them and if he finds out one of their own is on his property, he won’t hesitate to dispose of them.
“Yes,” I nod, finally smiling for the first time in a while. “But do not say anything about me, understand?”
“Yes, sir.” He nods and heads to the door. He stops just before he opens it and looks over his shoulder, “he’s holding someone in the basement. A woman.”
“For sacrifice?” I raise my brow.
“I’m not sure but she’s not one of the females he brought here.”
Then he leaves and I sit on the bed in confusion. I’ve been watching and listening as much as I can and they haven’t mentioned anything about a sacrifice this year.
Is Raiden keeping a secret from the others? And if so, why?
Chapter Fifteen
Raiden
My demon walks into the room, looking pale, and still breathtakingly gorgeous. She’s wearing the outfit I had made for her and even though it’s an exact replica of last year’s, it’s there on her body. A tight leopard print, fur mini skirt and bikini top to match. It’s a constant reminder of when she was whipped and the scars shine brilliantly off her back. I shift in my chair and grab my hardening cock, our memories of that night are so drastically different. She feels damaged and traumatized and I feel elated and salivating.
I won’t deny that I’m fucked up; I know that I am, and the fact that I want to hang her back up there and do it all again attests to that.
My brothers are also watching them come into the room and both Squall and Torrent stop their conversation just to watch. Hail mumbles something under his breath but I can see his eye on Sky. The music isn’t loud and obnoxious tonight, it’s more subdued in anticipation of what will be happening. I’ve told my brothers of my plan and none of them are particularly happy about it, but Torrent is the worst.
He doesn’t mind doling out pain and chaos but he’s protective of me, proving that this transition with my demon will be difficult for him. I can handle difficult, I just need to make sure it ends well, because I won’t choose anyone else over her. She walks slowly to the bar, taking long measured strides, and gestures to the bottle of tequila on the wall. The bartender looks at me and I hold up two fingers. She can have two shots but I need her to not fall on her ass drunk later. She has a job to do.
The bartender hands her two shot glasses filled with the amber liquid and Demon gives me a look over her shoulder. I grin back at her and she rolls her eyes, taking one down her throat. I watch as the long thin column works to swallow the liquid and I can’t wait to have my cock nestled in there later.
“So this really is legit,” Hail mutters and I turn to see him watching Tempest. The bags under his eyes have grown bigger and darker. His mouth is constantly turned down and his hair is growing out, showing the grey against the black.
